The Todoroki family is quite powerful politically. In the eyes of the local residents of Japan, it's hard to miss them. Back in the day, Enji Todoroki was the number 2 hero under the name 'Endeavour'. He stayed in that position for about 14 years? He was then number 1 when the symbol of peace, 'All Might' retired.His son, Shoto Todorki, is now the number 3 under his first name Shoto. So, the last 3 generations have seen a handful of them.
The secrets of the Todoroki family were shown long back. Back when the villain Dabi, revealed himself as the oldest child, Touya Todorki. Back when the country of Japan was reaching an all time low because of the tyrannical 'League of Villains' were close to ending heroes. Back when the citizen's only hope were the heroes and when their support went to Endeavour.
Long story short, Enji Todoroki was trying to create a kid with his Hellflame quirk and his wife, Rei Himura's Frost. He went through 3 children, until he got the perfect one which was Shoto. He then abused Shoto, neglected his other children, and mentally tortured his wife.
Crazy narrative, but it's not wrong. I was too young to remember, but I do know this is what turned me into the monster I am today.
