(THEY'LL COME AROUND)

Avery's been avoiding me like one avoids a plague. She's been talking to Lia and Connor however if I come around, she's quick to leave.

I haven't had a second to talk to her without her running away, I understand she may be upset about Christian but avoiding your best friend like this?

We're Avery and Aurora, we don't do this. We don't do friendship breakups or avoiding each other like this.

When I walk inside the building, I see them huddling over by Lia's locker forming a small group.

Before I can reach them,Avery quickly tells them bye before turning on her heels and walking the next direction.

"Still no progress," Connor tells me and I nod, giving him a slight sigh.

"Give her a few more day," Lia pats my back, "She'll come around," she tells me but I can't help but thing that maybe I might've crossed a line that I can't cross back.

The bell rings, signaling the beginning of our first period, unfortunately for me. I had AP Chemistry, with my lab partner who's been absent for the past two days.

Which meant lucky for me, I had two people who I extremely care about upset with me to a point I'm not sure is beyond repair.

"I'll talk to you guys later," I tell Lia and Connor to which they both nod to.

I walk past them, heading straight to my class since I'm technically already late. I walk into the class where everyone is seated.

Everyone expect our teacher and Christian. I head towards my seat, dropping my bag beside the stool before gathering my books together.

I can't help but wallow in my own sorrow as I sat at the lone work bench in Chemistry.

Christian hadn't come school for two days since the post, the post of which I had no knowledge of before he asked me.

Since I slapped him I've felt nothing but worry and guilt, my reaction was understandable but it definitely wasn't reasonable.

Christian and I have been through a lot, we have overcome things that we never thought we could've handled.

I can't help but think we can overcome this as well, find the truth for once.

I can't afford to lose him again, but he won't answer any of my calls and he hasn't been home for two days now.
