14:13PMEliza pointed to the photo of the man on the wall, where his tech data was displayed.
She took a moment to scan the information before looking up with a straightforward expression. "Richard Harper," she began."Born on December 28th, 1965, making him 52 years old. He's the leader of Steel Legion, and Viktor Kazimir described him as a pretty ruthless commander."
She addressed the room, her red hair styled in its usual plait draped over her shoulder.
The atmosphere was charged with focus as she took in the attentive faces of her colleagues—Gustave, Yumiko, Mike, Jack, and Harry—each ready to absorb the information she was about to share."Viktor identified a few of the operators sent to eliminate him, asserting it was the work of Steel Legion. He had limited insight into their operational methods, but it's clear that their leader operates without a second-in-command, exhibiting extreme paranoia and a dangerous disposition.."
Eliza gestured toward the blonde woman behind the glass, who sat quietly, seemingly lost in her thoughts.
"...and this girl is his daughter."
Harry leaned back slightly in his chair, his eyes narrowing as he took in the information. His gaze shifted briefly to the woman behind the glass before returning to Eliza.
"That complicates things," he said, his voice measured. "We need to tread carefully here." He paused for a moment, thoughtful.
"If she's Harper's daughter," Harry began, his tone thoughtful, "we're looking at someone who's been raised in a very particular world, likely with influence we can't fully measure yet."
Eliza scoffed softly. "We need to be certain she's not a Trojan horse, before we make any moves." she added, her voice edged with caution.
Harry nodded in agreement, his eyes fixed on the blonde behind the glass. "Exactly. We can't afford to overlook any potential risks. She's a key piece of this, but how much of that is by choice? That's what we need to find out."
Katherine looked up as a woman came through the door, her face was stern and she wore a plait in her red hair that was over one shoulder.
The woman settled into the chair across from her, offering a steady gaze. "Katherine," she greeted calmly, her tone measured and deliberate as she met the girl's eyes.
"Ash," she said, gesturing towards herself, sitting down across from Katherine, her tone firm but not unkind. "I'm the one in charge here, and I'm here to ask a few questions."
"Ash?" Katherine echoed, looking for more, her brow slightly furrowed in confusion.
The woman gave a curt nod, unfazed. "That's right. Ash," she confirmed, her tone steady, offering nothing more.
