FORT BRAGG, NORTH CAROLINA

16:01PMEliza leaned casually against the wall, her eyes fixed on the tablet in her hands, though her focus was razor-sharp.
The faint hum of the screen illuminated her face in the dimly lit room.
Her expression was intense, every detail sinking in as she processed the data.Katherine sat nearby, staring off into the distance, her mind elsewhere, until Eliza's voice cut through the silence.
"The primary operational base for Steel Legion is located in the Lake District- in the north west of England," Eliza stated, her tone cold and precise as she glanced up from the tablet and toward the large screen mounted on the wall.
Displayed beside a map was Aurelia's face, the central figure Rainbow was analyzing in real-time.Mike Baker and Jordan Trace stood nearby, both silently absorbing the information.
Harry, positioned off to the side, listened intently, his expression unreadable, but his nods revealed an understanding of the gravity of what was being discussed.Eliza leaned back in her chair, her eyes narrowing slightly as she considered the information. "There's a location in Ambleside. Steel Legion operates out of there. It blends in with the local businesses and factories—looks harmless from the outside," she explained, allowing the gravity of her words to sink in.
Katherine shrugged nonchalantly from her spot, her demeanor cool. "They won't be there," she asserted, drawing the attention of everyone in the room.
A heavy silence fell, a silent cue for her to elaborate.
Katherine's voice was steady, but an undercurrent of frustration crept in. "He knows what happened on that op. He knows I killed my whole unit and that I'm in Rainbow's custody. And he's fully aware of how much I know about him and Steel Legion. By now, he'll be long gone."
Harry nodded thoughtfully, his expression mirroring Katherine's concern.
Eliza nodded slowly, her expression thoughtful, then perked up. "You mentioned that all communications with external associates are routed through a series of encrypted channels?"
Katherine nodded, anticipating the follow-up question. "Yes, but those channels are constantly rotated to avoid detection. He's meticulous about it—never uses the same method twice," she replied, her tone steady.
Eliza raised her hand, signaling for Katherine to pause. "We have the best hackers in the world here. They'll be able to break in."
"You won't need them," Katherine interjected, a hint of confidence in her voice. "I can access those channels myself, or at least get close enough to monitor his communications." Eliza's eyes widened slightly at the implication.
"You can?" Jordan leaned forward, intrigued. Katherine scoffed softly, recalling her past.
"I was there for two years," she emphasized, her tone sharper now. "He kept me close enough to ensure I wouldn't try anything, yet I was also close enough to observe everything." She met their gazes as they nodded in understanding.
