Chapter 3... JEALOUSY
(3rd person pov)

*beep beep , beep beep!!* It was Y/n's second day working at playcare. She already enjoyed working there. She gotten along with everyone pretty easily, besides Catnap..but she didn't really care about him. As y/n was getting ready for work, she couldn't stop thinking about hers and Catnaps interaction. It kept her up half of the night. Maybe he doesn't fully trust her yet? Maybe he just doesn't like her? So many questions replay in y/n's head, but not the answers to the questions. Then eventually her mindset changed, she didn't need him anyways. She has the others.

After y/n finished getting ready, she went to her car and drove to a nearby gas station. It was little early, so y/n decided to get something to snack on and a drink. It was only 7:45 and she had to be there by 8:00, so she had PLENTY of time!

You grabbed your f/s (favorite snack) and your f/d (favorite drink). You felt generous so you got something for f/n too. By the time you made it back to your car it was 7:55.

As y/n made it to work, she was greeted by  f/n waiting for her infront of the factory. Then of course f/n lead her to her office again, until she can figured out how to get to her office by herself.

  (Y/n's POV)

"Alright, have fun y/n! You know where i am, so if you need something just come to my office." F/n said, as she was about to close the door. something stopped the door from closing. I was about to yell at whoever was there, until a tall figure, and shaped like a dog walked it. I sighed in relieve. It was only dogday! "Good morning y/n!!" Dogday said followed with a smile. "Hey dogday!" I replied back with a smile also. I noticed that his tail was wagging. "Soo, me and the other are going to have a picnic somewhere. And since your new here, we wanted to invite you!" After Dogday asked , i instantly replied back. "OF COURSE!" I never been so happy to be invited to a picnic."Okay!! we're almost done setting up. Just give us 5 more minutes." i nodded in reply. "Alright, see you in a few!!" ... "Wait Dogday!-" I tried yelling for him but he was already gone. 'Gosh damnit!' i thought to myself. What if Catnap is there???! 'Just calm down!' I told myself.

After 5 minutes pasted by, Dogday came back into my office to come get me.

"So what do you think of the playcare so far?" Dogday asked. Me and him are walking to wherever they set up the picnic. "i like it so far! Everyone here is very positive and i like that vibe!! And the kids are so adorable and sweet!!" I replied. "Well i'm glad your enjoying the playcare!" Dogday paused for a moment. "By the way, I told Catnap to be a little bit more... welcoming.!" i just looked at him. "Y/n , you both just gotta get used to each other! trust!!" i gave him a slight smile as a responds. "Alright alright.." I said just to make him happy. Dogday then gave a big ol' smile. Dogs are so adorable !!

(Catnaps pov:)

Me and the others set up a picnic. Well i didn't wanna help but they just forced me! Well...Honestly, When Dogday asked i said yeah. Hes my best friend! i couldn't decline the invite! As soon as we finished, i seen Dogday come back. He said he was going to get something else. "Hey dogday!-" I paused. "Y/N??!!" I yelled in disbelief. She looked at me with wide eyes. I turned around and i was about to leave until someone was holding me back. "NO Catnap! you have to stay here!." Dogday yelled in my ear. He knows i have to listen to him, so i just listened to him.

Everyone was sitting in a small circle. I sat on the left of Dogday as y/n sat on the right. I kept staring at her and she notices everytime. "Dude what is your problem!?" She yelled. "I'm not lookin at you!" I yelled back. Dogday looked at us in frustration, as a sign for us to shut the hell up. it made us both silence. 

After awhile, everyone was just chatting with each other. i was just sitting in silence. Of course tho, everyone was talking to y/n!!! They seemed more happier with her. They never were like this with me?! She's not even that special, what's so cool about her?! The one thing that ticked me off the most , was her and dogday was talking more! She is basically stealing MY best friend! Everytime i try to talk to him , he ignored me! But when Y/N talks to him, he knowledges her more.

This is not fair! and i'm not jealous! 'i cant do this anymore!' i thought to myself. "Dogday, your forgetting about me?!" .... "Catnap, can you please stop? i'm trying to talk to Y/n. Go talk to Craftycorn or Hoppy." I looked at dogday in disbelief.  That sentence silent me. 'Be that way then, i don't need you too!'. I was getting more angrier by the second, Just watching everyone else get along with y/n better. She doesn't even know everyone well, right?

"Y/n, your my best friend."

i looked at dogday and y/n in silence. "i cant believe this. i'm out!" I yelled at everyone and stormed off.

(y/n POV:)

i watched Catnap storm off. I actually felt really bad for him. "Don't worry about him, He's just sensitive." Kickin' said. everyone but me and dogday , laughed. "I should go check on him.." Dogday said , then he got up and went after him.

Eventually i got up too. "Thanks everyone for this" i say then followed dogday secretly. I followed him all the way to their lil house. As dogday went inside, i followed in behind quietly. Catnaps room was upstairs. I watched dogday go into his room and i sat by the door and listened.

"Go away dogday!"

"Catnap please talk to me!"

"why are you acting so nice all of a sudden?! you were ignoring me and basically told me to go away! what kind of a 'best friend' are you?"

"Catnap i don't understand why your like this to me, everyone, and especially y/n! i mean come on now!!"

"Dogday can you leave me alone?!"

"No catnap , i'm your best friend-"

"NO YOUR FUCKING NOT JUST LEAVE ME ALONE! YOUR SO ANNOYING."
