"Are you kidding me, a Grimm?"

Adalind was in disbelief.

"Yes, right now we're just trying to give her time to come to terms with it. I'm going by her place tomorrow to talk with her. She's scared. I know how it feels. When I found out I thought I was going crazy."

"I can't imagine what she must be going through." Adalind says solemnly.

"Do you think there is any way to reverse it?"

Adalind couldn't make that guarantee.

"I'm not sure. I've never heard of a spell like that before. Just the idea is still hard to believe. Even attempting something like that would have been hard. She would have had to try it on other people just to perfect it."

"She did, the four bodies we found were her's. It was bait. She wanted (Y/N) to solve the puzzle. It was just some sick game to her."

Adalind seems to get the bigger picture. She'd like to say that she can help, but this is out of her realm.

"I'm sorry Nick." He shook his head, pulling her close as he placed a kiss on her head.

"It's okay, we'll figure something out."

They needed to. Hopefully sooner than later.

The following day you aren't surprised when Nick shows up at your door. He must have gotten the call from the captain.

"Are you here to babysit?"

"Captain called me. He told me you asked to come in."

"Last time I checked, that's what they were paying me for. To work."

"You know that's not what I mean."

"What do you mean Nick?"

You close your door, walking around him. He follows you to the car.

"Please, let me take you back to the Spice Shop. We can help you."

"I'm fine. I haven't exploded. So everything is okay." You open your car door and he steps in front of it, blocking you.

"You know you're not. I'm not going to pretend that I'm not scared, but you need to stop pretending that everything is fine. What she did to you isn't natural. Despite whatever you believe right now, we can't lose you. Not again."

His words make you pull back. There's no use trying to put on a brave face. He can see through it. You sigh, handing him your keys.

"Let's go."

That's exactly what he wants to hear.

The drive over there is quiet. You're not sure what to say and Nick is probably in the same boat. When you pull up to shop, there's a part of you that feels like running again. You push it down, stepping out of the car a few seconds after Nick does, following him to the shop. He holds the door open and you step inside. When you look up, they're all there. Alexander, Monroe, Rosalee and Hank. You initially thought it would just be Rosalee there. Nick steps in after he switches the sign.

"Is this an intervention?"

"We're just worried about you." Hank explains.

"I'm not dying." You grumble.

Their concern is starting to feel suffocating.

"You refuse to acknowledge that there is a problem. We all saw it. You cannot think you could have just returned to work like it never happened." Alexander reasons.

"You're all acting like this is a death sentence."

"We never said that, we're just worried." Rosalee explains.

You scoff, rolling your eyes.

"This was a mistake, I'm leaving."

You try to make it to the door, but Alexander moves over to you, and when he's within your space, you halt. You'd like to keep that stoic expression on your face, but you're just as terrified as they are. You're just scared that if you admit it, then it's the same as saying there is something wrong with you.

You hate this.

A week ago you were fine. Being this close to Alexander was something that brought you comfort, but now you feel uneasy because of what your situation means for the both of you.

Alexander takes you by the shoulders, and the pain expressed in his gaze almost makes you cave.

"Please, let us help you."

You aren't sure why those words make you so angry. Maybe it's the insinuation that there is something wrong with you. That you're now some broken item that needs to be fixed.

"What if you can't, what if I'm stuck like this. What if I turn into some Wesen killing weapon, then what? Are you going to kill me Alexander?"

It's unfair to say those things to him, but you're frustrated.

He looks appalled just at the thought.

"That won't happen, we will fix this."

"I'M NOT SOMETHING THAT NEEDS TO BE FIXED!!"

You shove him back and his body pivots, slamming into the shelf of Rosalee's herbs. She gasps, and they all stare when his body drops to the floor. You're startled, and you expect him to get up, but he's just lying there. Your body feels frozen, because your intention had just been to gain some distance.

"Alex.."

You can't get your body to move.

Rosalee rushes to his side, checking his pulse.

"He's okay, just unconscious."

Relief washes over your face instantly. Hank, Monroe and Nick turn to you. It feels like Nick is saying something, you're sure of it. But the words aren't coming through to you. Your breathing increases and your vision is starting to get spotty. You are desperately trying to catch your breath, hands moving to the counter for stability.

"Nick, grab her, she's hyperventilating!" Rosalee instructs. He just barely catches you when your legs give out. He guides your body to the floor, taking your hand.

"Breathe, you need to calm down, steady your heart rate."

You shake your head, tears rushing down your cheeks.

"I..I could have killed him I could have.."

You gasp, struggling to pull in the necessary breaths. He can feel the way your pulse is racing and it makes him panic.

"Rosalee, her heart rate isn't slowing down!"

She nods, rushing over to one of the shelves. She grabs a smaller bottle of some kind of liquid, running back over to you. When she drops to her knees she pulls the bottle cap off.

"You need to drink this."

Nick helps you into a seated position and you nod, grabbing and guzzling it down frantically. Some of it spills on your clothing, but you don't care. The second the bottle is empty it drops from your hands. Nick watches as your heavy breathing begins to slowly drop. Your once wide eyes seem to relax, and you lean against him. He relaxes, now sitting on the ground with you. Monroe has moved to Alexander, clearing some of the broken glass shards.

"Take her to the back, we'll help Alexander. "

Nick nods, standing as he lifts you off the ground.

Monroe and Rosalee get to work cleaning up the mess.
