"Because when I look at you, I can feel it. And I look at you and I'm home."
~Dory"Luca loved the beach just as much as I did." Cami spoke while grabbing her glasses "remeber when me and him went almost every hot summer day to the beach while you were with Lydia." She looked at me through her glasses "he was so sad that you couldn't be with us. He always knew Lydia was just playing with you and using you, but you were just too stubborn to see." She said, her voice didn't even showed a sign of sadness or madness. I looked at her and sighs. Lydia is a snake. In 6th grade me and her hung out with her other friends. We were actually very close, that's what I thought, but one day I saw her talking to Nate. Nate was my first ever crush and I told her everything about him. I never thought she could backstab me so bad. She told Nate and all of her friends how psycho I was and that my crush on Nate was more than intense (like a dark romance book) . Of course it was all a lie but I had to stay home for 3 whole days because I was so scared to just step a foot inside the school. Lydia was a snake and since the day she made me change myself I swore one day she'll get it all back.
She was the most popular girl with her ginger hair and brown hazel eyes. She had a clique with some other popular people, she even once asked Luca in the first year of high-school if he wanted to join her and her friends. He of course knew what she did to me and declined it.Me and Cami arrived one hour later in the mall. She needed a new dress because it's her uncles birthday soon and she wants to surprise him with a restaurant dinner."Any specific colour you are looking for?" I asked her while looking at some different dresses. "a bright color, like yellow or pink." She answered as she was looking for her size. I walked through the small shop, it was a small second hand shop that has the prettiest and cheapest dresses in this town.
I showed her some different dresses, like a pink long dress with some flowers, or a blue short one, but she said no to the most. As she kept looking I saw a girl standing in front of a beautiful pink and yellow dress with a cute little ribbon. I was already on my way to show Cami as I noticed who stood in front of it. A ginger girl with blue tight jeans and a white flower top. My look fell to Cami who also noticed the girl.
It was Lydia. I was about to walk away from the dress an just ignore Lydia as she turned around and saw me. Her freckles all over her cheeks and a playful smile on her lips. "Oh look who's here. Lilith, haven't seen you in a long time, how are you doing? How's ur cute little boyfriend?" Her voice very confident and a bright smirk on her lips. I looked at her "boyfriend?" I raised my eyebrow "what do you mean?". She took a step closer to me "this blonde guy, very hot, such a good guitarist." She blushed thinking about him. Disgusting. "He's not my boyfriend and don't even think he'll be friends with you." I spoke angry. She always tried to steal everything from me and other popular girls. Like Cami, Cami hated her since Lydia talks Cami's outfit bad just because she wears second-hand skirts and ruins Cami's reputation as a popular girl. Lydia always saw herself on top and everyone she saw as an opponent, was a thorn in her eye. She talked lies about them so that her friends and other people in school would hate them and laughed at them. It already happened me and Cami and since Solana came to the high-school we are scared that Lydia found her as her next opponent. Solana was pretty, her black eyeliner and her perfect dark eyes matched her black hair. She was the completely opposite of me and Cami. Solana wore ripped jeans, she wore dark make up, but she wasn't like all the other people that had the same style. She doesn't go to parties even though she gets hundreds of invitations.I looked to Cami as Lydia chuckled "Oh you really think he won't be my friend? Try me Lilith. You know me" she smirked as she noticed Cami "oh you're here too? Another second-hand skirt? I told you do many times that you look like a monkey in it." She laughed as she grabbed the dress that I wanted to show Cami. It was the last one. I looked at Lydia and grabbed her arm "it's getting boring that you always have the last word." I said and gribbed harder, I didn't know what was happening but I suddenly felt angry and overwhelming. Lydia looked at me, "You're boring for acting like you know everything better. You don't do hun, you're just someone who tries to get a guy after another. First Nate, then Luca and now Silas? How embarrassing." She smirked as she noticed that my tight grab got looser. I let her go as she smirked and walked past us "take care of your Silas." She whispered in my ear before leaving.
