Lucy's POV

It was afternoon and everyone was there.
The boys all went into the garden to start the barbecue. Wade, James, Wesley and Tim took care of the barbecue while Aaron and John played with Kojo.

Bailey, Luna, Celina, Tamara, Angela, Neyla, Genny and I sat down in the living room and had a chat.
When the boys were almost finished with barbecuing, we went out and sat down at the table.
We started to eat and I looked at Tim.

"Guys, Lucy and I have something to tell you..." Tim started but Angela immediately interrupted him and stood up. "Give me my money guys. I told you they'll definitely tell us they're back together. And I said they'd get back together after nine weeks at the latest."

Aaron immediately took his wallet and wanted to give Angela some money. "Shit, I thought it would take them four months to get back together."
"Aaron put the money back in your pocket and Angela sit down. Lucy and I are not back together. So you were betting on our separation?"
Tim looked sternly at Angela who sat down again.
"No, we weren't betting on your separation, we were betting on when you two would finally come to your senses and realize that you can't live without each other."

Tim and I knew about this bet.
I'd grilled Celina about it on the phone last night.
We needed something to start a fake argument about and that was the perfect reason for a fake fight.

I stood up and pretended to be angry. "How can you bet on something like that? I'm never getting back together with Tim. He's turned into a total ass! I don't want that in my life. Even Chris was a better boyfriend than Tim."

"Excuse me, what?! You would choose Chris over me? Honestly Lucy, I'm sick of having to please you all the time. You can be really exhausting. Ashley was never that annoying and she was much better in bed than you!"
Tim shouted at me.

He played his role perfectly. Everyone believed the fight except Celina and Tamara, who were somewhat privy to the story.
I took my glass of wine that I hadn't drunk and threw it in Tim's face and on his shirt. "Then go back to your stupid Ashley!" I shouted at him with tears in my eyes and started to cry. "Did you seriously just spill wine on me?"
Tim took the spoon out of the bowl of guacamole and aimed it at my shirt.
I felt the guacamole land on my shirt. "Tell me, are you that crazy just since Ray showed up or where you always like that?" I shouted at Tim.
Everyone looked back and forth between Tim and me in shock.
No one dared to say anything or intervene.

I ran into the house and slammed the bathroom door behind me.
Through the open bathroom window, I heard Tim apologizing to everyone about the fight and saying that he was just going to clean up and then come back.

I heard Tim come into the house.
He quietly joined me in the bathroom and we put on new shirts that we had ordered yesterday.
Luckily they arrived this morning.
I grinned at Tim. "You played your part perfectly. They totally bought that fight."
"I still felt bad even though I knew it was fake. Just as you started crying, I briefly considered breaking it off" said Tim, wiping away the last of my tears.

He gave me a kiss on the forehead. "Are you ready?"
I nodded and left the bathroom before Tim and went back outside with Celina and Tamara to join everyone.
The two of them pretended to follow me and then waited outside the bathroom.

Everyone looked at me when I came out again. I wondered who would notice my shirt first.
The shirt said "I'm pregnant."

I sat down at the table again. "Sorry guys, you weren't supposed to hear this" I said.
"Lucy, your shirt..." Neyla said as Tim came back into the garden.
"What about her shirt?" Tim asked. Neyla looked at him and looked at his shirt on which was written "It's my fault that she is pregnant."

"Is Lucy?" asked Neyla. "You're pregnant ?" asked Bailey and Luna at the same time.
Lucy nodded and smiled. "Yes guys, I'm pregnant. That's what Tim and I wanted to tell you. Sorry about the fake fight but we just wanted to create a funny and memorable moment to tell you and needed reasons to change our shirts."
Everyone hugged me and Tim.

They congratulated us and you could tell how happy they were for us.
"How far along are you?" "Are you back together now?" "How could that happen despite your break up?" "Are you getting back together now because of the baby?"
Everyone had lots of questions and wanted to know more.

"Lucy is 12 weeks pregnant now, so it happened before we broke up 10 weeks ago. We're not back together but we're going to move in together as roommates so I can help her with the babies. Only time will tell if we get back together" Tim explained to everyone.

"Timothy do you have said babies right now? As in plural?" asked Angela, looking at him with wide eyes.

He had to grin and put a hand on my stomach. "Yes, Angela. Identical twins are growing in Lucy's belly right now. We only found out yesterday that we're going to have twins."
"So you didn't get Lucy once unplanned pregnant, but twice at once? You really wanted to leave a big message before the break up and leave two of you inside her." said Aaron, who was still slightly in shock like most of our friends.

They hadn't expected anything like this.
"It's going to be twins? So you're having two mini Bradfords?" asked Tamara, taking me in her arms.
"Yes, it's going to be twins."

We talked all afternoon long and they were all really happy for us. In the evening everyone went home.

Celina and I helped Tim tidy up before we went home too because I wanted to go to my parents in the morning to tell them about the pregnancy.
