Tucker. No, it had to be someone else. Why Tucker? Why Sonja? Why was the whole Mianite team here? Why were any of us there? The answers I could not find were around in the game someplace, but for the time being, I assumed it was our fate to be there. A fucked up fate.
"Everyone alright?" Mark asked as he ran in, seeing the four of us on the floor. His bottom lip was busted and his shirt sleeve was torn, but he was fine otherwise.
"We... we found out who the puppet is," Tony spoke. I looked to his wide eyed expression and noticed that he was shaking a tad.
"Wha- who?"
"Tucker," Jordan said from behind me, claiming the rolling chair. He put his hand down for me to grab and he helped me to my feet, which was promptly forgotten once I sat on his lap and wrapped my arms around him. "Our friend."
Mark's face went white and he nodded. He stood up straight, looking to Tom who was sinking into the tiles and looking at the ceiling, tears in his eyes.
"I'm sorry, you guys," Mark said quietly. "I really am."
"Bullshit," Tom mumbled. "You're so fucking calm and you're so strong why don't you just end the game or snap my neck."
"Tom!" Jordan and I shouted. Even Mark looked like he was taken by surprise. Matt and Jirard were ushered into the office by Austin and Ian who had grips on their arms. Ian pushed Jirard hard towards Mark, making him fall to the floor. Mark quickly helped him up and looked to Austin who walked towards Jordan and I.
"That was rude, Tom. I was trying to be nice," Mark scowled at the Brit. Tom sat up on his elbows and glared at Mark. However, Mark seemed more interested in where Ian had gone and where Suzy was.
Austin grabbed my arm and pulled me off of Jordan and to my feet. I went to reach for Jordan, but Austin shook his head and grabbed my jaw to make me look at him.
"Keep away," Austin said in a playful voice. Keep Away, the game? I looked to Mark just as Austin let go of me with a forceful push towards Tony.
"What?" Tom asked loudly. "Too nice to even stand up for yourself? You're a prick, Mark, and you're part of this whole thing, aren't you?" Mark didn't look back at him or even reply, walking out of the office. Jordan grabbed the tablet.
Tom stood quickly and held out his arms. "Where the fuck do you think you're going?" he yelled down the hall to Mark.
"He's going to go save Suzy!" Jordan yelled. Austin perked up, grabbing the tablet. "Ian's trying to take her into the shadow room!"
Austin dropped the tablet on the desk and walked out quickly, bashing shoulders with Tom. The group looked to Austin as he left. I scrambled to my feet and ran after him, making sure not to hit Tom on the way out. I ran past Austin and jumped onto the stage, rolling behind Jake and tapping on his shoulder. He turned to look at me, then groaned in pain.
I held up a finger to my lips and he looked to Ian, backing into the darkness. Suzy was walking towards him, passing Dodger who was passed out on the floor. Mark was pulling on her arm, but nothing was working.
I looked past Jake, seeing Austin walking briskly to Mark. Before he could grab Mark's shirt, I lept out and off the stage, tackling Austin. He screamed out and was suddenly gone from under me, making me faceplant into the tiles. I pushed myself up, looking to the stage where Jake was sitting.
"Touch me one more time and I snap Jake's neck," Austin shouted from his place behind Jake. He squatted down and smiled at Jake, making him scream.
"Just let go of Suzy," I said, Mark lifting her off the ground. She began to kick and scream, punching at Mark to free her. Austin looked to Ian and he turned around, Suzy stopping her fit.
"Deal," Austin said to me, glaring with his creepy forced smile. "I'll go make more pizza and fries. Just stay away from Jeremy."
I raised an eyebrow, watching him leave the stage and disappear down the hallway. Suzy and Mark looked at me, recognizing that I was confused.
"I think he meant Jordan," Suzy said. I nodded, not looking to them, and started making my way towards the office. Why couldn't I be near Jordan? I saw Tom try and pick a fight with Tony when I walked in, pissing me off a bit. Tom looked at me and I quickly grabbed his shirt before he could start with me. I brought my fist to his face and got him straight in the nose, instantly making it bleed.
"Hey!" Tom cried out, covering his nose. I walked away from him and past Austin, grabbing Jordan's shirt and pulling him towards me, kissing him right on the lips. He didn't resist the kiss, grabbing onto me in return, but I did hear Austin growl at me. I let go of Jordan and he looked at me, dazed and starry eyed.
"What did Jake have to nod about?" I asked, not letting silence enter the room. It was hard to, for Tom was crying on the floor while he tried to stop his nose from bleeding any more. I couldn't look at him and neither could Matt.
"He... uh..." Jirard glanced at Tom, then to me. He looked at the notepad and cleared his throat. "He said that the robots went rogue and that none of Ian's powers were in the planning. It's impossible."
"It's possible," I corrected. Jordan, his hands still rested on my back, looked me over and swallowed. I grinned. "What else?"
Taking charge so suddenly threw Matt and Jirard off. "He was working with Michael and Kevin on the first and second game together, the one we were in," Jirard said as he looked around to Tony, Tom, and Suzy.
"He also said that he planned on digging up Smosh and using them for the last game," Matt announced. I looked to him, tilting my head.
"A... a final game?" I asked.
"To complete the timeline, I guess. The game order."
Jordan pulled me into him and I faked a smile. He looked up at me and I felt like crying. Another game? If there was going to be one, who would be pulled in? I feared Jordan, Tom, so on... and then I saw myself.
"You should get some rest," Ian blurted out from the doorway. Everyone jumped and turned to look at him. He started walking towards the desk, staring at Jordan and I. "And you should follow the rules."
Ian grabbed my wrists and pulled me away from Jordan, smiling as he led me out of the office. I wanted to resist, but I didn't want to start something. He led me to the next room where Arin was and shut the door. Arin looked at me, sitting on a table. He did nothing.
"I'm losing my fucking mind," I muttered, sitting on the floor. What was going on?
