"He looked at me, straight in the eyes, and laughed. I was helpless. He grabbed onto me and the only way he would let go is if I detached it... He took my hand, Danny," Tony calmly, shakingly, said to me. I nodded, still tired from my four-hour nap. Tony's bionic hand was indeed gone from his arm and he looked as if he had lost everything in life. I had to give it to him: his quick thinking saved his life.
Jordan, Tom, and Suzy were still out of it. Jon and Jirard were carrying everyone back into the office to keep them safe, I assume, and Jirard wasn't acting like his normal self. He was back in his Freddy mode, it seemed, for he was doing everything Austin and Ian were telling him to do. He still looked around at everyone with fear in his eyes and that jaw replacement on his face was still the same, meaning nothing had been messed with.
I watched Jirard and Jon pick Jordan up from the chair he was sleeping in beside me and carry him out of the room, leaving me there with Tony who wasn't sure what day it was any more. Mark and Matt walked around, trying to figure out what their new plan would be, and they looked over at me. Jirard returned with Jon and they picked up Suzy. I saw Mark tense.
"Get to the office," Austin demanded. "We have games to play." Tony and I stood; he was shaking.
"Was our screaming too loud?" Tony asked, looking ashamed. I shook my head.
"I didn't hear a thing." I looked at Mark. "Nothing at all." I could hear the crying in my voice and I stood taller, trying to brush off the possibility of Jordan being dead. he couldn't be, even though his body was cold and his chest was still.
The four of us walked into the office, the three others sitting against the walls, separated. Sonja was slowly waking up from the office chair she had slept in near the door, a water gun in her hands. Ian was standing behind the office desk, his hands on the desk and his glare burning into all of us. He looked at Matt and smiled. Matt stopped.
"They awaken."
The room filled with the sound of gasping from breath, the five of us looking around to everyone scrambling to regain their consciousness. Suzy reached out for the air, eyes wide and face regaining colour. Tom sputtered and coughed, clawing at the tiles. Jordan grabbed his chest and looked around, kicking his legs and sitting up further on the wall. He looked around at everyone, eyes locking with mine. I instantly was on my knees at his side, hugging him tightly and crying as he coughed and clawed at my back. I could hear him breathe again, finally.
Mark ran to Suzy and held her tightly and Tom was bear-hugged by Jirard and Tony, Matt standing there with his stare glued to Ian. I looked back at them, letting Jordan inhale my being, making sure I was really there.
Matt scrunched up his face. His hair was matted and his shirt was torn in places. His shoelaces weren't tied and his jeans had blood on them. He looked as if he was prepared for a battle with the devil himself. Well, Ian wasn't too far from it. The tall man smiled at MatPat, his dark demeanor filling the office with dread, despite the happy reunitings.
"Matthew Patrick," Ian chuckled, shaking his head, "you think you can figure this all out? I can see your mind turning, trying to figure out what all is happening. You're trying to think of why you're here. You're trying to think of how to stop me- how to stop Golden Freddy. There's no chance you'll stop us. We're past Scott's canon. We're past the point of initial return. We're past sparing your lives. And more importantly, we're past letting you all live."
Matt stood there, determined to win the stand-off. He barely flinched, as if turned to stone. He didn't look scared at all.
"This night, night 5, is your final night, Matthew Patrick, Jordan Maron, Mark Fischbach, Daniel-Chase PopTart, Jirard Khalil, Suzanne Berhow, Tony Venezuela, and Thomas Cassell. Oh, and now with the addition of Sonja Reid. Don't think you'll survive. I'll make sure of it."
