Tony and Jirard stood by the door, keeping watch while Matt and I managed to prop everyone up against the back wall who was passed out. Mark kept time on the music box. Matt and I sat at the vents with water guns, but at the drop of a hat I was ready to be an assassin and creep my way around the restaurant and get secrets out of Jake.
Joey was laughing every now and then, giving me chills. Tony jumped back and started shooting at someone, Jon shouting angrily at him. I aimed my gun into my vent, hearing someone try to climb through. I looked in, seeing Arin trying to grab me. I shot him in the mouth and he spat out blood and water.
"How long, Mark?" Tony asked, stepping back.
"I... I don't know," Mark said with sadness in his voice. "I lost track."
"Well, shit," I sighed. "Keep the baby asleep, Markimoo. I'll check on the four back there." I slid my gun to Mark and stood, walking to the back. I had to hold my breath when I saw Jordan...
"Any of them awake, Danny?" Jirard asked. I knelt down and shook Sonja, but she didn't respond.
"No," I replied. "They must be under some kind of spell." I crawled to Jordan and sat in front of him, shaking his arm. He moved and slumped over onto Suzy. I gasped. I instantly got up and walked away, taking my gun and my post back.
Tony pumped his gun and shot someone again. This time it was Joey, but he was still laughing. Jirard looked down to me and then to the back of the office.
"Hopefully the night will end before they wake up. I wouldn't want any of them to be in panic." He brushed something off of his Sonic shirt and blue jeans, looking to the ground. Whatever his task was, he finished it, and returned to his post.
"Ah! Fuck!" Mark shouted. I looked to see him grabbing his wrist in pain, not touching the box at all.
"Mark!" Tony yelled. "You have to keep tapping!"
"I can't! My wrist! It's cramped!" he shouted back. Time was quickly running out.
I panicked, and in doing so, tripped on my words and felt pain jab into my side. I tensed and said nothing, for I was unable to. I had a hand clasped around my mouth. His eyes were black, nothing, pitted out sockets and his smile was stitched wide. Tucker laughed at me, grabbing my throat with his other hand.
I found myself grabbing his wrists as he forced my head into the tiles. He sat over me and held me down, closing my airway. I shut my eyes, feeling the blood pound in my head and my fingers start to go cold. Everything went fuzzy and I saw Mark get up and run towards me.
"Dan...Danny!" Mark yelled. I gasped, sitting up and choking. Where was Tucker? Did anyone else see him? "Danny, are you okay?"
I nodded, starting to cry. I was shaking and I could still feel Tucker's hands wringing around my neck. I let out a cry and Mark dragged me to the back of the room, Matt sitting in Mark's spot with the box. I grabbed onto Jordan and screamed as the phone started to ring. Matt hit it, then sat back down.
"Hello? Hello? Uh, hey there, night four! I told you you'd get the hang of it!" The recording sang with an upbeat and bubbly tone. If only recording Jake could see hidden Jake now.
"Reminder that Fazbear Entertainment denies any wrongdoing. These things happen sometimes. Ya know, the malfunctions and what-not. It'll all get sorted out in a few days. Just keep an eye on things and I'll keep you posted. As a side note though, try to avoid eye contact with any of the animatronics tonight if you can. Someone may have tampered with their facial recognition systems - I'm not sure."
He actually sounded like he was unsure. "But the characters have been acting very unusual, almost aggressive towards the staff. They interact with the kids just fine, but when they encounter an adult, they just...stare. Uh...Anyways, hang tight. It'll all pass. Good night!"
"Jon was staring at Danny," Tony said. I held my breath and buried my face into Jordan's arm. Why he wouldn't wake was scaring me. Our friend trying to end my life was scaring me. The sweat dripping down Jirard's forehead was scaring me. The fact my death was inevitable was scaring me.
"Mark," Matt said with a worried voice. "How do we actually know this is working?"
"It's not," I cried. "He got me."
"Who got you?" Mark asked, water gun in hand and glasses sliding off nose. I sat, trying to muster up the courage to say his name, but I couldn't. I only coughed and cried, shaking on the floor. I could see him with his bleeding eye sockets and his stapled smile.
"Leave him be, Mark," Jirard sighed. He shot Arin from down the hall and I heard him growl. "He needs his time."
"I don't think we have time, Jirard."
"Mark, there are some pretty heavy facts that we need to leave Danny rest up before he gets a hold of a water gun."
"Wanna know some facts?" Mark asked, angry. I grabbed Jordan. "Here are some facts for you: Story: We're fucking trapped and three of us are now dead. Gameplay: Water guns. Troubles: We're fighting animatronics of dead friends and we're being played with by two other friends, I guess, and they're planning on killing us. Spoiler alert: Vsauce is a cult and Michael and Jake are fucking nutcases who seek revenge for who knows what!"
"Stop it, Mark," Tony yelled.
"No! I'm not going to stop until someone kills me to end this all. This is all complete bullshit."
"Don't say stuff like that!" Jirard scolded Mark. He knelt down and squirted someone in the face, Joey laughing.
"Why not? We don't have time. I need to know who attacked Danny He fell on the floor and stared at the ceiling, choking himself. I want answers. Someone was doing that to him and I bet, as a theory, someone he knew did it. I don't care about 'giving him time'. I need to know ho."
"You don't know him," I yelled. "You never cared to get to know him. His name was Tucker and now he's dead and all you care about is yourself and your floofy hair and your smug face!" My yelling turned into screaming. "Get your head out of your ass!" We all heard Austin laughing, Ian's chuckling not too far behind. They like this.
Everyone looked at me, save for Matt. Then, as if in milliseconds, Tony fell to the floor and dropped his gun, screaming and clawing at the tiles. I jumped up and scaled the desk, only to see him gone into the darkness of the hallway. The bells rang. The lights turned on.
"Tony?" My voice was calm. I looked around and saw blood. I saw Dodger. I saw Arin. I didn't see Tony. "TONY?!"
