Book 1: You Know I Can't
"I can't do it!" Chase explained to the overly obsessed prince. Chase knew that the prince heard differently since the story characters kinda hear what they want to hear so Chase made a run for it.
"Buddy! Buddy! Where are you?!" He ran until he saw a pale-skinned goth.
"Hm?" Buddy turned startled to see Chase running at him, "You're supposed to be with the prince."
"I can't do it! He wants to marry me and have kids on the same day!" Chase huffed.
"Tch. I tried to warn you this story is....a little more adult." Buddy crossed his arms, "But a stubborn brat said they could do it so who's fault is it really?"
"Hey, I wasn't blaming you and I thought you would stop calling me a brat!" Chase pouted, getting closer to Buddy.
"Well, you must know by now you are my little brat." Buddy smiled. Buddy's smiling has become more and more common and that makes Chase really happy.
"And you're my big goth." Chase didn't wait for a reaction out of Buddy, he kissed him making sure to make it as satisfying as possible.
"Mhh..." Buddy closed his eyes, falling to the kiss easily.
"My love!" The prince hollered, "Where have you gone in such haste."
As Chase and Buddy broke away, disappointment fell on the two. Chase has tried to get Buddy to come in real life so they can have more time for intimacy, but Buddy refused, acting all nervous once meeting was brought up.
"You know, if we could meet in real life we could do this more often." Chase held Buddy's hand hoping to not make him so nervous. But still, Buddy tensed.
"I...I'm not sure...I'll think about it..." Chase sighed in frustration.
"You say that every single time."
Before the black-haired goth could answer, the prince came running, immediately taking Chase's hand.
"Why did you run away from me, my dove?" The prince rubbed Chase's hands, worried as hell. Chase's whole body tensed. If it was Buddy doing this it would be different. He would be smiling...laughing...enjoying the sensation of his cold hands to his warm cheek. But no, it was a prince. A prince who wanted kids so badly he married 6 girls. Which was a big red flag. Chase looked behind him but Buddy had disappeared.
"Buddy...I love you..." Chase mumbled.
"I love you too, my dove." The prince answered. Chase grumbled.
"That was not for you god damn it..." Chase thought as he went with the prince.
When Chase was home he was glad to be. He left just as the prince got too obsessive and romantic..................
But he couldn't stop thinking about Buddy, the more he thought about him the more he wanted to make out with him.
"UGHHHHHH!!!! You know what" He grabbed a random book, not caring what it was,
"I am going to spend some quality time with Buddy, avoid any princes, any stepsisters, any frog princes, and spend time with him!"
When he got settled in the new book the first thing he noticed was his outfit, which was a nice tuxedo with a rose on it. Silver must have heard him talking about Buddy.
"I love this, thank you, Silver!" Chase walked everywhere trying to find Buddy. After a few minutes or what Chase guessed was minutes he found him, smelling a rose. Omg. Chase gawked at Buddy. Buddy was wearing the most attractive outfit ever. He had on a black shirt that showed the middle of the chest and a heart-shaped hole that sowed his belly button. His pants were tight on his legs, shaping his thighs and butt. His black hair was slicked back and had glitter in it looking like a faraway galaxy. That was a very Buddy outfit to wear.
"Buddy..." Chase mumbled. Buddy turned and did his seductive stare which didn't help anything.
Chase hid his face, "Stop staring at me like that!"
"Like what?" He teased, walking over and turning Chase's head to face him, "I was just looking at you."
Chase shivered because of how cold Buddy's hands were, "Ya, but...it was that stare. The stare I love."
"I thought you loved all my stares." Buddy leaned it and met his lips with Chase's. Chase went on his tippy toes to get more of Buddy's lips.
"Mmmmmm" Chase relaxed, putting any thought in the back of his mind.
After a few minutes they broke away, but Chase wanted more. More of Buddy. But luckily Buddy wasn't done, he pined Chase to a wall and kissed him making sure to also include his neck. After a while they were getting a crowd who were wondering why the evil queen was kissing her niece. It didn't matter. They didn't stop. They couldn't. This was the moment both of them were waiting for, to touch each other in a satisfying kiss, and some good shoulder rubs. Finally Buddy broke away, his face a crimson color as he gasped for air.
"Why'd you stop..." Chase mumbled.
"Because people are watching, we should go somewhere more private." Buddy looked at the gasping crowds.
"We were just aggressively kissing. What's wrong about that?" Chase pouted.
"Yes, but the people in the story that we are are also related, but I didn't think you knew that since you don't read the books before you go in them."
"Hey, I do, just cause I hate reading doesn't mean I don't read the back of books." Chase huffed.
Buddy rolled his eyes, "Ok then why didn't you know?" Chase grumbled.
"Ok, you got me, congratulations..." Chase clapped sarcastically. Buddy chuckled. Chase loved how making Buddy laugh was just as common as seeing a squirrel in your yard.
They both stood there for a few minutes, staring into each other's eyes, wondering who would move first. Finally, Buddy moved away, sighing as he went. Then as Buddy walked away, Chase followed, skipping happily along like a little kid with ice cream. But then doubt crept in...
They would have to fight eventually, the owner of the key needed to be settled, and no matter how Chase or Buddy hated it, they had to. That was the conclusion to all this, Buddy would always be the villain, Chase the heroine. And that would mean they would never be able to be together. Separated but connected on a thin thread that would never break, no matter how hard one pulls or how hard people try to cut it. And that thread will pull them together, keeping them from doing their destiny. Right destiny. That was the problem. Destiny was the real enemy here, keeping them together but apart, keeping them from a happy relationship. Cause that's life. As much as one fights it, it will hurt, damage, and curse them, cause that's what it thinks we deserve. Cause some people are bad. Some are good. Some are in between. But it's never enough to prove to anyone that one person deserves happiness. So that's why one must never give up, cause anyone who gets up and fights those mean people and their mind they will succeed. It may seem hard at first, but what life throws at us is a challenge, a challenge we can't bow down to, or plead to. And that is why Chase followed Buddy with such enthusiasm because he was ready. Ready to fight for Buddy. But will it end up killing him or scarring him?
What will happen when his body fails to respond? What happens when they do something to really hurt Buddy?
And most importantly, why was he doing this? Risking his life for someone who was supposed to be his enemy. Maybe love, perhaps? Or because Buddy was now his family...and Chase always puts family first.
