Deacon dragged Chase away from Ex Libris.
"Wha...hey!! Dorkin what are you doing?"
"Leave the man alone...give him the keys and let's get out of here."
Chase got out of his grasp.
"No!!! I don't know what has gotten into you but I am not letting him have the keys, and we are so close to the Narratonin we need."
"That's the thing, you obviously don't want to get Narratonin anymore! All you care about is Buddy now!!!"
"Well I need Narratonin to help my mom!"
"Well your mom died today!" Deacon lashed out.
"..."
"What?"
"Yeah, your mom has already passed and it's because you were wasting your time with your stupid boyfriend."
"Hey....h-he's not s-stupid." Chase started crying.
When Chase looked over at Buddy the old man had a knife to his neck.
"NOOO WAIT!!!!" Chase tried to run to him but falled over. That's when he realized it started to rain.
"If you move you will regret it." The old man said.
Chase froze. He was about to lose another important person in his life.
"Nooooo....please....he....I love him!" Chase fell to the ground, tears running fast down his face.
"Now give me the keys or Buddy dies." Chase looked back at Deacon then back where Silver and Bronze were hiding and then back at Buddy. Buddy's face was wet and not from the rain. He was scared.
"Come on child choose, I don't have all day."
"If I choose the keys will you let Buddy free?"
"Yes."
Chase looked back at Silver and Bronze. His decision was made.
Chase grabbed Silver and Bronze and walked to the man. The man let go of Buddy and started to grab the keys, but then Chase stomped on his foot..
"Hell no you're not getting the keys. Buddy run!!!!" Buddy took off as Chase took off in another direction with Silver and Bronze.
"UGHHH THIS STUPID KID!" Ex Libris snapped his fingers and his goons came out of hiding.
"If you want to play that game, we'll play that game. Go and catch them!" His goons starting running really really fast.
As they chased both of them, Ex Libris walked up to Deacon and grabbed him by the collar.
"You're coming with me!"
Deacon tried to get away but the man was strong for his age.
"Once Chase realizes you're gone we will come and get you, but this time I won't let him fool me that easily."
