A/N: I'm referring to Daydreamer as a SkyWing in this chapter, just because, and why not?
Daydreamer walked into the classroom, laughing and chatting with her friends, Copper, Rain, and Cleverclaws. She surprised herself with how well she could control her scales. She hadn't messed up all day, unless she was with her friends, or by herself.
A MudWing, a SeaWing, and a SandWing were already inside. I wonder who the IceWing is, she thought to herself.
Tsunami was waiting on the waterfall. "Our IceWing should be here any minute now, we decided to switch it up a little."
There was a scraping sound of serrated claws outside, and a cold wind swept into the classroom through the doorway. Please don't be him, please don't be him, Daydreamer silently prayed. She turned to see none other than Snowdrift standing in the hallway outside the classroom, staring straight at her. There were three different spots he could sit, but of course, he had to choose to sit right next to her.
"I'm Snowdrift, my favorite color is white, I'm interested in SkyWings, I'm an IceWing-MudWing hybrid, and I don't like RainWings because they're lazy."
"Hey! Don't disrespect my friends!" Daydreamer protested. "My name is Daydreamer, but if you are considered my friend, I will allow you to call me Dream. That does not apply to you," she then gave Snowdrift a pointed look, "My favorite color is purple, I am a hybrid, and I don't like IceWings."
"Why not?" Snowdrift asked, perplexed.
"Because your tribe is arrogant." Daydreamer replied.
"What kind of hybrid are you?" the SandWing asked.
"I'm not comfortable saying, sorry," the SkyWing replied.
"No problem, I'm Ember, my favorite color is the color of embers, and I like to explore the large desert."
"I'm Geyser, my favorite color is indigo, and my best friend is Clearsplash."
"My name is Copper, I am a SkyWing-MudWing hybrid, my favorite color is maroon. My father is Clay, actually."
"Hi, my name is Rain, I'm a RainWing, I like guavas, and I don't have a favorite color."
"Hi, I'm Cleverclaws, my father is Starflight, and I love to read."
