Sleepover

Red was sitting on Chloe's bed with her arms and legs crossed like a child.

"I'm not going!"

Chloe walked out of the bathroom gently running her hands through her curls. She pouted at the taller girl feeling defeated.

"But why?! Bridget invited us and we do need to stay close to her so she doesn't go all-"

Chloe was trying to find the right word without offending Red however Red seemed to understand anyway.

"Villainy?"

Chloe looked at her, eyes wide, was that even a word? She shook her head getting rid of the thoughts In her mind.

"Exactly! Come on Red let's go to the sleepover?"

"No! I don't like people chlo"

Chloe sighed approaching the sulking girl, kneeling on the floor and placing a hand on Red's knee.

"I know that, I know you don't like people... I just thought it would be nice to clear our heads and get away from this dorm for a night. You know just have fun?"

Red looked into Chloe's eyes. They were wide and very very Brown. She loved looking at Chloe it calmed her. It was really no surprise what happened next when Chloe was sitting there pleading with puppy dog eyes.

"Fine I'll go. For you. How many people are going?"

Chloe jumped up spinning on her heels, squealing.

"It's only Me, You, Ella and Bridget. I made sure of it because I know how you don't like being in a room with people you don't know."

Red couldn't help but feel overwhelmed at the fact Chloe did that for her, she almost teared up. Almost.
She got off the bed unprepared for the force that was Chloe's hug hitting her almost winding her.
At first she didn't do anything just letting Chloe hug her then she wrapped her arms around Chloe and everything felt alright. At least for the moment.

Entering Bridget's house was easy for Red because it was the same house she lived in, in her time. And because of this she knew her way around wonderland which shocked Bridget to the core.

"I'm so happy you came along Red! Anyone would think you've been here before with the way you knew how to get here!"

Bridget smiled and joked to Red, who was unsure what to do or what to say so she just laughed and stepped closer to Chloe.

"Thanks for inviting us Bridget your house is wonderful! Pun intended"

Red couldn't help but laugh, if that joke had come from anyone else she would've been disgusted and rolled her eyes but Chloe had a different effect on her. One that she wasn't sure what to do with.

"I'm so glad you like it!! I'll take you to the sleeping area now that's where Ella is waiting! I have four sleeping bags for everyone so don't worry about sharing, I'll get those out later of course-"

Red and Chloe trailed behind Bridget as she explained a few things: house rules, sleeping arrangements, food options and more. Chloe was happily listening when she felt a hand slip into hers, she snapped her head up to see Red walking close to her, she was shy anyone could see that, and scared it seemed to be back in her house. As much as Chloe tried she could never fully understand what Red went through to be so scared of a house but she tried really hard and Red knew that.
