I can see it in your eyes that you wanna get out

Red laid in bed looking up at the ceiling, she wished she could say that she was feeling sad or even angry but she didn't. She didn't feel anything at all, she was numb.

Red looked beside her seeing Chloe asleep with her hand over Red's stomach. Usually Red would smile at the sight of her girlfriend, usually she would feel fluttery. Usually. But as she looked at her now she didn't feel anything, it was confusing.
What was happening?

Gently removing Chloe's hand from her stomach she got up out of bed putting her boots on, not bothering with a jacket as she left the dorm room at 6am in the morning.

Chloe woke up in Red's bed alone. She never woke up alone which caused her to worry. Looking in the bathroom, the kitchen, the walk in wardrobe, Red wasn't anywhere to be seen. Chloe figured she must have left.

Red didn't tell her she was leaving, she sat on her girlfriend's bed replaying the events of yesterday. As far as Chloe was aware nothing bad had happened, Had she done something to upset her? She doesn't know.

Chloe got ready for the day, wearing a navy blue summer dress with white flowers printed on it. Putting on her Black doc martens she left the dorm in search of Red.

Starting with the cafeteria. She went up to every table, but she wasn't there.

Next she searched the Art classrooms then the toilets, No sign of the Red haired girl.

She took to searching every other classroom even the maths ones. Nothing.

Chloe even checked in with any and every teacher she came across and principal Uma, no one had seen her.

Finally she climbed every tree in the far back of the school knowing that if this was as bad as it seemed Red would've taken herself high above to hide from everyone. However still no sight of her.

Chloe took herself back up to their dorm waiting on her bed. After all, Red had to come back to sleep at some point. That's what kept Chloe's spirits up.

That was until minutes kept passing, and minutes, hours.

The clock on Chloe's bedside table hit midnight. Chloe didn't want to sleep, she had to make sure that Red was okay but her eyelids were getting heavier. Sleep eventually over took her, laying on her back, on her own bed by herself.

Red stood in front of her shared dorm room. She hoped Chloe was already asleep, she definitely didn't want to hear Chloe lecture her right now.

It's not like she avoided Chloe, she had just decided to go back home to wonderland and visit her mum since it was the weekend.

It was clear that Bridget was concerned for Red, she wanted to ask questions but for whatever reason she didn't and Red couldn't be more thankful for that.

Entering the dorm room Red sighed, Chloe was asleep on her own bed for once. Red was relieved to have her bed all to herself, she was exhausted. Mentally.

Chloe woke up the next morning feeling pained by the fact that Red wasn't holding her like she usually did.
Looking at the clock it was 7am, her eyes swiftly shifted from her clock to Red's bed which was empty. Again. But slept in.

Red had came back last night. Chloe sighed in relief knowing her girl was okay but she couldn't help but feel sad knowing Red had left early hours of the morning again.
