Weddings are meant to be happy occasions. Two people declaring their undying love for one another. Getting married was supposed to be the happiest day of Red's life but it wasn't.

Red stood in the mirror looking at herself in the wedding dress. It was white with lace covering the entire dress top to bottom.

(Like this not sure how to describe it)

Red twirled herself around making a disgusted face, she thought she looked like balloon in this thing.
As she stared at herself in the mirror she heard the door open and close, her mother entering the dressing room.

Bridget looked her up and down, a smile tugged at her lips.

"You look beautiful Red."

Red turned around facing her mother a shy smile made its way to her face. Red pulled up a chair waving Bridget to sit down.
Red didn't know why she was so nervous to speak her emotions to her own mother. After all they had changed her for the better, however the subject at hand was a difficult one.

"Mum? I need to talk to you about something important..."

Bridget placed a hand on her daughter's knee trying to comfort her as best she could.

"You can tell me anything baby."

Red took a deep breath placing her hand over her mum's holding it lightly.

"Mum... I can't get married."

The smile stayed on Bridget's face, her hand squeezing Red's gently.

"It's okay baby, you're just scared. It will all be okay when you get down the aisle."

"No mum you don't understand-"

Red took another deep breath looking directly into her mum's eyes to make her listen.

"I can't marry him mum... because- because I'm in love with someone else. I'm in love with Chloe..."

Red waited for a reaction and at first she thought it was going to be kind and understanding but boy was she wrong. She watched Bridget's face turn from friendly to sour removing her hand from Red's, scowling at her.

"Well you don't have a choice!"

Red stood up face to face with Bridget, confused she stepped forward flailing her hands about.

"Well why not!?"

Bridget made a harsh gesture with her hands causing Red to flinch backwards.

"BECAUSE ITS WRONG! WOMEN DONT MARRY WOMEN!"

"THAT'S NOT FAIR! JSUT BECAUSE YOU COULDN'T MARRY ELLA!!"

Bridget stepped up into Red's eye line. Looking down on her with a wicked scowl. Bridget's hand made its way across Red's face causing Red to shakily hold her cheek in pain.
