What if the engagement ring is all gold? I mean, it can't be ALL gold. Maybe it's 14k or something.
I don't think it would be difficult to print out a design, carve that design out in gold (gold is also really soft), carve out another design, and put them all together with no gemstone.
Maybe we could make our wedding bands together. I can embed a message inside the ring using things that look kinda like stamps and a hammer.
Or we can just buy wedding bands b/c they're just gold bands.
