Why did you leave me alone in this harsh world?
On October 23, the day we tied the knot, the day the autumn leaves fell on the way, the day we made our vows together, the day we promised never to leave each other in the aisle of the church filled with chrysanthemums-
Yet, my love, you left me...
Why did you break your promise, my love?
Why did you break the promise made to our child?
My one and only love,
Oh, how excited we were when we found out I was with child. I still remember your bemused face, the way you lifted me and spun me around.
Oh, my love, you have not only left me but also our child-the child we so looked forward to, the child we were nervous about, the child we loved so much. The child you loved so much that you made mindless talk with the baby in my stomach:
"When will you be born, my baby? Dad is really excited to meet you. I promise to be the best dad ever, a dad you can rely on when you have problems. My baby, please be born soon. Daddy is really eager to see your beautiful face."
I recall you telling this to our unborn baby. My love, you promised to be there for our baby and me, yet God took you away from us.
I have endured for 2 months, 61 days without you. I have lived 61 days without seeing your beautiful face, your soothing laughter, or your clumsy mistakes. I have lived these 61 days for our child and to raise them for the future, yet God took our child with Him too.
How can you both leave me alone?
Why? Why our child too? The child who was supposed to be in a happy family, the child we loved so much-why, God, why? What sins have I committed?
My love, I will be with you and our child soon. We will be happy again.
