"what do you think we'll do after this?" minjeong asked

"after what, my love?" jimin replied.

"i mean we went to school, we didn't quite finish it because we're.. well, here. what are we going to do after our contract ends? are we still going to be close with ning and aeri? are we going to be okay?" minjeong worried.

"i'm not sure, min. the future is a weird concept; there's one thing i know for sure though, the four of us will be fine. regardless of what happens, we always have each other." jimin comforted the worried girl.

"come here" jimin said as she gestured for minjeong to cuddle closer to her

"everything will work out the way that it should, you'll always have us by your side, and i promise you that everything will be okay." 

"can you tell me the story of how you knew you fell for me?" 

"my love, i've told you many times"

"i know jimin, but it's one of my favorite stories, i love listening to it."

"do you? you seem to fall asleep every time i tell you"

"because your voice is soothing, now talk"

"if you wanted to sleep you could've just said that" jimin chuckled

"hushhh, but pleaseee" minjeong pleaded.

"okay okay, before i met you i wasn't looking for anything. i was trying to change and be a better person than i was years prior. i just wanted to focus on me and school. nothing else was important. aeri and i were always together if i wasn't on my own studying. she had been my backbone for years, and i'll have her to thank for that always. the day she told me that she was inviting ning out, i wanted to bail. i didn't want to do anything at all, but she convinced me to go and try to have fun since i hadn't in a while. aeri was so excited that ning was going. she turned around asking me if it was okay that her friend came along. of course i wasn't going to be mean, so i said the more the merrier.. little did i know one simple yes could change my life for the better.." jimin paused as she heard minjeong's breaths getting heavier

"no... keep talking... still awake" minjeong murmured. jimin chuckled and kissed her forehead.

"says the one falling asleep, but anyway. we finally met up and at first glance, i thought you were going to be way too shy to even interact with anyone that wasn't ning. i was partially right, but i was so intrigued by you, you were so quiet, collected, and i just wanted to know who you were. i tried to break the ice and talk about ning and aeri. we had fallen into a comfortable silence after, it wasn't awkward or anything, but it was nice. then ning got you up to sing, after a slight struggle, but she did. you and ning became entranced in your own world. like you forgot we were there, and it was so adorable to see. for a second i doubted ning liked aeri, but i knew ning really liked her, given her tomato face.." minjeong laughed.

"you then went back to being all shy and reserved again, but i wanted to see you right back out of your shell. i asked you to sing with me, and you didn't reject me. that made my heart flutter so much. i fell in love with your voice first, it was angelic. i thought i was in heaven the first time i heard it. when we finished the night, i kept longing for you. i wanted your number, i wanted to accidentally run into you, i wanted to see you. i was confused, and very much in denial, because i just met you, how could i be so attracted to you. when you said you were studying, i wanted to try to get you out and get you to see me. i wanted to get to know you more, and i got to. you came to me. it was such a small thing, but to me it was huge. you could've blew me off, but you didn't.. i really knew i fell for you when you tucked me into bed the night i was over and fell asleep. you carried me to your bed, you got me tucked in, you went to leave, but i reached for you to stay. i was barely awake, but i knew you were there. you walked out, and i got sad, but again, i was barely awake. then you came back, and i wanted you to stay so i tried one more time, and you did. you let me lay on you, touch you, sleep in peace, i took over your space for one night, but you still stayed and watched over me. that's when i knew i fell in love, because even though we didn't know what we were feeling, you still cared for me, you could've left me on the couch like any other friend would, but you didn't. from then i never wanted to be apart from you and i just wanted to be with you every single day for the rest of my life.." 

at this point, jimin hears snores. looking down she sees a sleeping minjeong with a smile on her face. she took a picture because of how cute minjeong looked. shortly drifting off to sleep herself. 

when jimin woke up, she didn't feel the weight of minjeong on her anymore. just the weight of a blanket covering her. she looked over and saw a bouquet of flowers and a note.

"my love,

i didn't want to wake you because you were sleeping so peacefully, dinner is ready for you outside, i'll be back shortly! i just went to the store <3

jimin's face immediately lit up, as she went to smell the flowers. she got up and went to the kitchen to have some dinner. as she heated up a plate, she heard the door open. turning around at the footsteps she heard, she was face to face with minjeong.

"min!! you're back, i missed you"

"hi love, when did you wake up?" minjeong asked as she set the groceries down.

"like, five minutes ago i think? i don't know. i just know i woke up and you weren't here"

"i know love, i'm sorry. i just ran to the store, but, i got you something!" minjeong said with a bright smile

"really? for me?"

"of course, i always get something for you when i go out" jimin started to tear up

"why are you crying love?" minjeong asked, wiping her tear.

"you're just so sweet and nice and caring and sweet" jimin said.

"i'd bring you anything you want at anytime, even if you didn't ask for anything. i love you so much" minjeong replied, giving her a tight hug. "now here"

she reached down and grabbed a lego set from the bag.

"you got me legos? the flower ones? really?" jimin said, in shock

"i did, we can build it together or i can build it for you, or.. yeah" minjeong said

"we can together, but why flowers?" jimin asked

"because these flowers are infinite, like my love for you. these flowers don't die, like my love for you never will." minjeong said, earning tears from the both of them. they stood in the kitchen hugging and remaining in that position for minutes. 

"okay... that was corny" ning said

"way to ruin a moment" minjeong said, throwing whatever paper she found at ning

"hey! watch the hair" ning said. everyone laughed. minjeong and jimin just stared at each other with understanding eyes that were full of love.
