a couple days have passed since their confessions. it's the weekend again, and it's time for their date. ever since they had met, the pair had been inseparable. of course they still spend time with ning and aeri since they're all friends now, but there is never a day where they don't see each other. in fact, minjeong is waking up next to jimin almost every morning. whether it be at minjeong's apartment, or jimin's. usually minjeong loves her alone time, studying 24/7, but she loves being able to sit in comfortable silence with jimin. their dynamics work well together, being able to do their own work separately, but while in each others presence.

jimin woke up earlier this time, careful not to wake minjeong. she wanted to go out and get everything prepared for their date. she wrote a note down next to minjeong, letting her know that she'll see her later and that she went to get prepared. also letting minjeong know to text her when she woke up. before she left, she planted a kiss on her forehead, and then she made sure everything was clean enough for minjeong.

though jimin wasn't 100% sure what she wanted to do for today yet, she knew she wanted it to be special. whether it be romantic, fun, or relaxing. she just wanted it to be perfect. on her way back to her place, jimin quickly stopped at the nearest florist, making sure to get a bouquet for minjeong. it wasn't anything huge or grand, just something simple, but something that shows effort. she looked up museums, ones that showcased as much art as possible. she felt like they would both enjoy the scenery, given they both lean towards the artistic and creative side. as jimin neared her apartment, she remembered that there was a carnival going on. she decided to make that the next destination, that way they could go on rides together, and that way jimin could try to win her something, even if the only prize she wanted was minjeong's heart.

shortly after jimin arrived at her place, minjeong had woken up. a little stirred since she just woke up, but a little disappointed to not see jimin by her side. she turned over towards her nightstand, and read the note jimin left for her.

"good morning sunshine, i went back to my place to get ready for our date tonight! i hope you rested super super well, and i can't wait to see you later. make sure you eat <3, text me when you read this!"

they both proceeded to go about their morning. making themselves coffee and breakfast, taking some time to freshen themselves up, it was a calm morning. minjeong took some time to study more. nothing out of the ordinary, since it mostly follows her routine. as she was focused on her work, she suddenly heard her apartment door open. unsure of who it was, she stopped what she was doing.

"minjeong! i need you!" ning yelled

"oh boy, what it is now ning?" minjeong sarcastically asked

"okay, attitude. anyway, aeri and i want to do something, and we want you and jimin to join us." she said

"um, today?" minjeong asked

"no, not today. soon though. it's something, kind of, big." ning said, slowly grinning

"that sounds suspicious, and i don't know if i should be worried" minjeong laughed as she said

"you shouldn't, at least i wouldn't be, but i'm also not you... so" ning shyly became quieter.

"okay spit it out ning, what is it that you and aeri want us to do" minjeong asked

"SMishavingauditionsforagirlgroupandwewantyouguystoauditionwithus" ning quickly spit out

"i'm sorry? repeat that ning. and slower. i can barely understand you when you talk normally"

"SM.. the music company.. label.. whatever.. they're holding auditions for a new girl group.. and aeri and i wanted to do it, but we want you and jimin to join us too.. you both have great voices. aeri told me that jimin dances, and it would be cool and a cool opportunity to even be apart of!" ning exclaims, trying with all her might to convince minjeong.

"but ning, school?"

"minjeong, being an artist some day was always your dream! and think about it, if luck is on our side, you'd be surrounded by everything you had ever wanted to be around." minjeong knew that ning had a point, she was right. if luck was on their side she could be around what she wants.

"when are the auditions?" minjeong sighed through her question.

"tomorrow.. at noon"

"tomorrow?! that's barely enough time for me to even think!"

"i know i know, but i- ugh, you're going to be with jimin today, so there's the opportunity to ask her.. even though aeri is on her way to hers.. not the point though.." 

"i'll talk to jimin later.. i'll give you an answer later. however, i'm putting our date first before your question"

"you thinking about it is all i could ask for!! thank you minjeong, i really hope you do this. it would be really fun!!" ning exclaimed, and reached in for a hug. soon after ning left, minjeong's phone went off.

shortly after, jimin appeared at minjeong's apartment. bouquet in hand, with a big smile on her face.

"hi beautiful, these are for you" jimin said, and held out the flowers.

"thank you, they're beautiful." minjeong grabbed the flowers and smelled them, enjoying the scent. she quickly put them in a vase with water, as they head out.

"do you want to talk about it now, or later?" jimin asked, they both knew what it was that was to be talked about.

"later, right now i want it to just be us. it's our time" minjeong said

"of course, then let's go. did you want to stop for some coffee before we head out for today?" 

"it's like you're reading my mind. i would love some coffee first" they head towards the cafe, hand in hand. minjeong could already feel like it was going to be a magical day.
