"i still can't believe that we proposed at the same time" jimin said

"i know, but i think that proves even more that we are meant to be, don't you think?"

"of course i do, and i wouldn't want it any other way. since we have the day off, do you want to go to the cafe and then maybe all of us can go to the amusement park or something? i don't know, i'm kind of bored today"

"sure hun, i'll text them" minjeong said, as she reached for her phone, texting the group chat. after they all agreed, they proceeded to get ready. it wasn't long until minjeong found herself lost in her thoughts, thinking about how she's going to marry the love of her life. she had never opened up her heart to anyone, not until she met jimin. everything changed, including her. it wasn't in a bad way, and it wasn't a forced way. she became more outgoing, more passionate to achieve her goals. 

*flashback*

jimin and minjeong finished their dinner, it was great. they had their privacy, they never minded meeting MY's in public, but sometimes they just wanted their own time, and there's nothing wrong with that. they both got their favorite meals, and just got to sit and talk about anything on their mind. once they finished, they decided to go out for a walk to their favorite spot. 

"i was thinking about this.." minjeong started

"should i be worried already?" jimin joked, as they stopped on the bridge, over looking the river in front of them.

"no you shouldn't" she laughed back

"okay then, what is it?"

"i was just thinking about how easy it is with you. not saying things are never hard, i mean life gets hard and that's just how it goes, but i was just thinking about how conversations flow so smoothly, when i'm stuck on something you stay with me until i get it down. you never make me feel bad, and you're patient with me.." she paused in between

"of course, i'll always be patient with you, minjeong. you deserve the best, and that's all i want to give you and be for you"

"you know, i used to look at the world so dull and narrow. that there was only one path for me to go on, i didn't need people or relationships. i had ning, and that's all i ever needed. it was always just study and work.. don't have fun, just be. i thought that no one would ever want to deal with me, even if it wasn't something huge. things have to be a certain way for me, but with you, it all goes away. i think because i trust you so much, because i'm so comfortable around you. you make me feel at ease. serenity, that's what i feel with you.." she trails again

"what are you trying to say, minjeong?" a puzzled look forms on jimin's face. though she was happy and her heart was fluttering, she couldn't help but feel like there was more to what minjeong was saying.

"i guess what i'm trying to say is that, i never want to stop feeling what i feel for you. i want to wake up next to you every day. i want to be those corny couples who say they'll grow old together. i want you in this life time, i want you in my next life. it's you, and it's always been you. you turned a gray dull world into beautiful color. you are the love of my life, jimin, and i don't ever want to stop loving you. what i'm truly, truly, trying to say here is.." minjeong slows down, taking a deep breath. she reaches into her purse and takes out the box, kneeling down on one knee.

"i don't care if this is too soon, me doing this does not mean we have to get married right away, we can take things as slow or as quickly as possible, deep down in my heart i know it's you, and it will always be, jimin... will you marry me?" minjeong asks, jimin in visible shock. her mouth not being able to move, but forms a smile. she lets a chuckle out, which then leads minjeong to confusion. reaching for her purse, jimin takes out a ring box as well.

"i guess we really are meant to be if we both decided we're going to propose." they both laughed

"of course i want to marry you, minjeong." minjeong then slides the ring onto jimin's finger. after looking closely, jimin realizes, they both bought the same ring.

"we're clearly meant to be. minjeong look" jimin shows her the ring she got for minjeong, to see the exact same.

"wow, look at us" they laughed together

"okay, but now it's my turn"

"minjeong, i have loved you from the day i first laid my eyes on you, you made my heart skip a beat, and you always drew me in. i wanted to fight it at first, but i let my heart feel. i will never ever regret letting my heart feel, because if i didn't i wouldn't have found you. you're the sweetest, kindest, and silliest person i know. i never want to stop loving you, and i promise to do that for the rest of my life, i want to wake up next to you every morning, i want to fight through whatever battles come ahead. i want it all, with you.." she grabs the box and kneels down on one knee.

"will you marry me, minjeong?" they both start laughing since minjeong had proposed first already.

"of course i will, jimin" she smiled from ear to ear.

"man i was hoping i was going to be the one to propose first" jimin joked

"guess you just have to be faster next time"

"next time? what are you talking about next time, there is no next time, we're getting married next!"

"we may have just gotten engaged privately, but our fans don't know that.. so publicly... i mean you can propose.." minjeong joked

"but also, in our next life time" jimin playfully rolled her eyes, and they headed back to the dorms.

after getting ready, they headed to the cafe, picking up their drinks. since aeri and ning were at their apartment and not the dorm, they headed to go pick them up.

"so who get's who's last name?" aeri asked

"babe they haven't even said whether or not it happened" ning chimed in

"yeah but look at them, they're idiots in love" aeri said

"in love, yes, idiots, no that's you" jimin replied

"whatever, let's go we're ready" aeri said

they started their journey to the park, and once they arrived, they were greeted with some fans. luckily they weren't invasive of their time and they just enjoyed their day at the park. aeri and minjeong loved the adrenaline from the rollercoasters, ning and jimin on the other hand.. not so much. it was as if they were holding on for dear life.

"look at your face" minjeong laughed as she was making fun of ning

"oh shut up" ning pretended to be hurt by it, but she knew it was pretty funny. they enjoyed the rest of their day, and had the most fun that the four have had in a while. minjeong and jimin were on cloud 9 since they were now engaged, ning and aeri too. though the two pairs were in their own separate relationships, it never made anything awkward. the four of them were perfect together, they were the perfect group. it was no wonder that people loved them so much.
