A Child Again?

Chapter 40

Third Person pov:

Bakugou spun around, hoping it was Dabi. Instead it was Shigaraki. He was angry, very angry. After finding out Dabi turned himself in, he became very upset and blamed Bakugou.

Bakugou backs away from the villain while keeping a scowl on his face but the villain grabbed Bakugou by the throat. He was wearing a glove to prevent himself from killing Bakugou with his quirk. Right now Bakugou's throat was small and easy to block Bakugou's air way so he was gasping and scratching at the villain's hand.

Shigaraki was yelling at Bakugou, taking out his frustrations on the blond while strangling him. Bakugou's vision began to blur as his body grew weak.

Bakugou's eyes fall shut as he felt himself about to lose consciousness but was suddenly released and dropped to the ground. Bakugou gasped and coughed as he caught his breath, his throat definitely sore, probably even bruised.

Bakugou wondered why the villain stopped so he looked up and Shigaraki was also on the ground wiping some blood off his face. Shigaraki had been punched and cut by Hawks who just arrived in time. He stood before Bakugou, glaring down at Shigaraki with his feather blade pointed at Shigaraki's throat.

"Go home Shigaraki." He ordered.

"I'll be....back for you." He said between coughs before summoning a portal. He disappears as Hawks sheathed his blade.

"Bakugou are you alright?" Hawks asked as he knelt down before the ash blonde who nodded his reply. "Wait...home come you are bigger than the last time I saw you?" Hawks asked.

"Because my damn teacher finally found a cure but of course it's working as slow as possible." Bakugou answered in an annoyed but sassy tone.

"If you were with your teacher again, why are you back here?" Hawks asked right after.

Bakugou looks down at his lap and began to rub his arm a bit. "I wanted to see him....I was hoping he escaped the cops...but he really turned himself in..." Bakugou explained to Hawks who now had wide eyes. He didn't know and that was obvious.

"He did what?!" Hawks asked while standing right up.

"He turned himself into the police! Hawks! You gotta help me get him out of there!" Bakugou pleaded as he was now standing as well.

"As much as I want to break him out myself I don't think we can.."

"Please! He helped keep me safe and made me feel wanted! He doesn't deserve to be turned in just to be in confinement!" Bakugou pleaded while gripping on to the hero's shirt as silent tears trickled down his face.
"God dammit, being stuck as a baby for too long has made me sentimental or some shitty reason." He mumbled while roughly wiping his eyes with his sleeve.

Hawks knelt down to the Bakugou's level and embraced him with a hug. Bakugou hesitated and just started hiccuping as he stood there with wide eyes.

"I understand Bakugou, I will help you rescue Dabi." Hawks reassured.

After hearing that, Bakugou reached his arms up and began hugging Hawks back before gripping onto the hero's shirt again, his eyes falling shut before beginning to sob and cry, he was relieved he wouldn't be doing it alone.
Hawks allowed Bakugou to cry on him, he kept him close and comforted him the same way Dabi had back then.

Class 1-A searched top to bottom, they looked all over the dorms, class 2-B's dorm, and the whole campus but Bakugou was nowhere, there were no signs of him. He even managed to not get caught on any of the cameras and left no trail to follow.

Mina was searching around the parking lot of the school, screaming out his name. She had been the one to check his room first and when she did it was totally wrecked. She was so scared that Bakugou was kidnapped again or even killed already.

Her and many others ran around in search to find Bakugou, the class believed he was no longer on campus.

Midoriya was worried as well. He was informed about everything that happened to him and Bakugou. He didn't know if Bakugou had his memories or not. For all they knew he was wandering around with no memories and might've been picked up by a stranger.

"Bakugou!" Sero called out as he, Kirishima, and Kaminari searched the nearby mall, asking around if anyone had seen him. Kirishima was worried, Bakugou is always for some reason the one that goes missing, gets attacked by a quirk, get attacked by villains, becomes everyone's enemy, and he was even kidnapped. Kirishima hated that it was always Bakugou, he wished it were him instead. His best friend has been dealing with so much before they were even in high school.

Kirishima was very observant when it came to Bakugou. He noticed how after they moved into the dorms he barely went home, called his parents, or talked about them. Kirishima knew something was off between Bakugou and his family. The fact that they are still MIA is upsetting. What kind of parents don't check in on their son constantly after he's been kidnapped and almost killed by villains?! Kirishima thought to himself as he and the other two exited the mall, having no luck.

Todoroki and Jirou had ventured back to where Todoroki had found Bakugou and Dabi before getting Bakugou back again. The two of them enter the apartment and looked everywhere for him but he wasn't there either.

"Todoroki." Jirou called out from the living room.

"Did you find something?" Todoroki asked while reentering the room and returning to her side.

"I found...some blood, it's quite fresh too." She points out to some blood splatter that was on the side of the couch. Todoroki and JIrou examine the blood before sharing worried expressions.
