Chapter Thirty Eight

By the time Damien had showed up my soulmates had made their way outside. I had moved away from the door and was standing away from the building. I hadn't even known he had pulled up until I was being shaken.

"Jesus Luna, you're soaked. What were you thinking standing out here while it downpouring like this? You know your susceptible to getting sick like no tomorrow." He told me and the worry in his eyes only got worse when he saw my face. "What did they do? I'll kill them if they hurt you." He told me as he glared daggers behind me. 

"I'm fine, just take me to the mansion to get a few things and then I'll explain everything afterwards." I told him as I mentally prepared myself for all that I would need to do and grab while keeping myself together. I couldn't fall apart, not ever after tonight. 

Damien just gritted his teeth and helped me to his car before I watched him stare down my soulmates before getting in the driver's seat. He drove us to the mansion, my soulmates' SUV not far behind us the entire time. 

When we pulled up I ran out and opened the door, throwing myself into action as I sprinted for the stairs and immediately heading for my room. I took out my two suitcases from underneath the bed and immediately started filling them with my clothes. I made sure not to bring anything they had ever bought me. I made a mental note to buy myself a different laptop later before I got myself a new phone and car as well. I wouldn't keep anything they had gotten me. 

I zipped up the bags and brought them downstairs before going in search of the cat carrier. Mochi was my cat, I was not leaving him here. As I grabbed it from the closet under the stairs he came running to me, meowing softly. 

I set the cat carrier down before unlocking it and setting him inside. I turned back towards the doors to see Damien and my soulmates all standing there. "I'm ready to go, I packed all my stuff. I'll send the car, phone you guys bought for me, and the ring back tomorrow morning." I told them as my soulmates just looked lost. 

Damien came up and grabbed my suitcases, wheeling them towards the door before Jimin and Namjoon blocked him from moving any further. "Let's just talk this out Luna." Namjoon said in a neutral tone and I just scoffed softly. 

"I'm done talking for now. I'm not rejecting you guys, but I can't stay with you guys any longer. I can't trust you guys since apparently you guys couldn't trust me." I told them in a hard tone before there a knocking heard at the door. 

"We do trust you, we weren't thinking. You could have gotten yourself into any number of dangerous things due to your new contacts. We were only doing what we thought was best." Jin said and I scoffed again. 

"Your guys' best idea was to kidnap me after I've already been kidnapped once and I've been terrified to leave the house since? You guys could have just talked to me, I was legit coming home to tell you guys when those guys stuck me with a needle." I told them as I raised my voice. "You guys have more brains than to think that was the best you could have done." I finished as I moved around all of my soulmates, making my way to the door and throwing it open. 

The site in front of my eyes caused my eyes to go wide. Mina, with a prominent baby bump on the steps. "Sorry to show up so late, but I need to talk to your soulmates very urgently. Looks like one of them is going to be a father." She said in a tone laced with malice. 

I saw red at the very same time I heard a loud noise behind me and felt a pain in my face. I turned around to see Damien punching Namjoon in the face. "You assholes cheated on my sister?!?!??!?!!?!?!?" He yelled as he kept throwing punches. 

I set the cat carrier down and pulled my brother off of him. "Stop Damien, if you hurt them you hurt me dumbass!" I yelled at him and he turned back to look at me as I was trying harder than before to keep from breaking down.
