Chapter Forty Four

I was able to leave as of the next afternoon, I was more than happy to be home. I had missed my bed and Mochi. Immediately after coming home Mochi was all over me, wrapping himself around my ankle whenever I took a step. 

I gave up after getting in the kitchen and sat down, before taking him in my lap. I pet him as I smiled down at him, him purring nonstop as I just looked up to see all of my soulmates watching us. Mochi was making biscuits on my thigh as my attention was pulled away from him slightly, he meowed up at me to get my attention, which worked and I returned my attention to him. 

"You're still supposed to be taking it easy for the next few days." Jin told me in an authoritative tone as I just kept my attention on Mochi. 

"Yes I know, I read the discharge papers. No strenuous activities until I'm cleared by the doctor on my follow up, lessen the amount of stress I'm under, a few other things as well. I know how to be after getting out of the hospital." I told him as Mochi pawed at me some more and I just petted him some more before he turned on his back. I rubbed his stomach before one of my soulmates rolled one of his toys into the living room and he hopped off my lap fast to hit it around. 

I looked up at my soulmates as I just shook my head at them, before moving to get up off the floor. As soon as I was standing up my phone began ringing in my pocket. I answered it before any of my soulmates could say anything. "Hello?" I said into the phone before hearing one of my soulmates clear their throat and I just walked off into my office, before closing the door behind me. 

"Ms. Moore we seem to have a problem with scheduling apparently. It wasn't a mistake you made, but we need you to fix it if you can." A voice I recognized as Enzo said through the phone and I headed over to my office computer before turning it on. 

"Logging into the system now. What problem exactly are you guys having?" I asked him as I sighed into the network connected to the Organization files and everything. It was a ghost network, so untraceable by anyone, unless you were Yoongi I guess. 

"Killian and I were supposed to do a job in a couple of weeks with Hana, but she's already assigned to another job the same day and stuff. We don't have time to reschedule the entire job." He told me and I immediately started typing in their names before the job popped up. 

I read through the file of what the job consisted of. They were going to France, Hana was supposed to meet with a target that we were getting paid to take down. She was supposed to seduce the target, get him alone and then take him out. Enzo and Killian were only supposed to be there for backup if she ended up needing it. Hana was one of the best butterfly assassins so I highly doubt she would ever need the help. 

"Bringing up a list of female agents available in that time, give me a minute." I told him as I brought up another window on my computer and brought up all the female agents in the systems. I typed in the date in question, and surprisingly none of them were available. 

I went back and looked at how bad this guy was, he was one of the worst. Had his hands in a lot of bad things. Made a lot of his money off the black market. I immediately made a discussion before I could change my mind. I clicked on the job and removed Hana before adding me to job. I would be cleared by the doctor by then. 

"I'll do the job I just might need assistance unlike Hana would. I don't doubt my skills, but it will be my first job ever in the field." I told him and I swear I heard him gasp. 

"Are you sure ma'am? I mean the leader normally doesn't get her hands dirty with a job, especially not one like this." He told me and I just finalized the change on the file. 

"Only if you two will have me, if not it's going to take a lot longer to see if we can rearrange any other jobs on the same day." I told him and I could hear him talking to someone in the background and I just waited at my computer. 

"Killian and I both agree that this would be fine. We'd be honored to do a job with you." Enzo told me and I just shook my head at his word choice. 

"Well then I will see you both in about two weeks." I told him before hanging up and sighing softly. Now how was I going to explain this to my soulmates? It would be wrong of me not to tell them, but after what just happened how did I tell them this? I mean I could always just not tell them for now. 

I shut off my computer and made my way out of my office to see all of my soulmates standing around in the kitchen still. "Sorry, work call." I told them as I put my phone back in my pocket and came to lean against the counter. 

"You're supposed to be relaxing and recuperating, not dealing with work drama. Let Damien take care of it." Yoongi told me in a hard tone as I just looked away from him. 

"I dealt with it because I'm still the leader, not Damien. He isn't even the second in command or whatever. The second in command is someone I met at the dance. They didn't even contact the second in command because he's never had to reschedule something, the leader themselves does that so I did it. I fixed some scheduling problems, but now they're all fixed." I told them as I opened my fridge to see it mostly empty beside some bottles of water, and some left over soup and stew that Jin had made while I had been sick. I sighed softly before taking out my phone again. 

"I'm going to order groceries and get them delivered, anyone want or need anything?" I asked them all as I just started adding my regular items to the cart. 

"No, we're all good. Or if we need anything we'll get it ourselves, but you are not taking care of the groceries yourself." Jungkook told me and I just nodded softly before walking into the living room and sitting on the couch as I kept adding more items to my cart before checking out. I was going to have quite a bit of groceries, but I did need them all. 

After ordering the groceries to be delivered in a few hours I got up and went to head to my room before being stopped by Taehyung. "If you're going to lay down, you're going to be sleeping on the couch for the next couple of days so we can keep a close eye on you." He told me and I just nodded softly before yawning. 

"I'm going to change, but I do need to get a blanket and pillow from my room if I'm gonna be stuck on the couch for a few days." I told him and he nodded softly before Hoseok stepped up beside him. 

"Let us know when you're done getting changed and I'll come in and get your blanket and pillow for you." He told me and I just nodded before walking away into my room and closing the door behind me. 

I quickly stripped myself of my clothes and went into the bathroom to take a very long and hot shower. I was so tired, but the shower was definitely worth it since I hadn't showered or bathed at all since my bath the other day. I stepped out freshly washed, there was steam all over the shower glass which leaked into the rest of the bathroom as I walked over to go back into my room to get changed. 

I grabbed a pair of leggings and a different hoodie this time before changing into them and heading back out. All of my soulmates looking up at me as I stepped out of my bedroom. "You can grab my blanket and pillow now if you want. Sorry I took so long by the way I needed a shower after being unwell the last few days." I told Hoseok and he nodded before heading into my room behind me and I just made my way out onto the couch. I sat down and all I felt was exhaustion. 

I yawned once again as I watched Hoseok walk into the living room with one of my blankets in his arms as well as one of my pillows. He set the pillow down behind me as he unfolded the blanket and draped it over my legs. "Thanks Hoseok." I told him as he smiled softly up at me. 

"Get some sleep Babygirl, you need it." He told me and I nodded softly, before his use of the pet name they all called me could cause me to freeze. They hadn't called me that since the night of them kidnapping me, or maybe the morning of? I couldn't remember but it had been a while. 

I laid down and closed my eyes before my mind could think too much of it, and fell asleep soon afterwards. I was glad for once that I was actually tired, I didn't need my mind running crazy over the fact that he had called me a pet name again.
