Chapter Twenty-Six: Sophocles' Moving?!

Fun fact about my MC from Pokémon Journeys, Cosmo.
He was originally going to be Raihan's brother, which is why half of his team is Dragon types.
But this idea was later scrapped, because I thought of an even better one.

[Pokémon School - Path]

On the path towards the Pokémon School, Sophocles was saddened at the fact that he was moving.

"How should I tell them?" Sophocles questioned.
"Toge..." Togedemaru was on his backpack.

Almost making his way into the Pokémon School, Ash greeted him and pats his back. "Alola!"

"Whoa!" Sophocles stumbles a bit. "A-A-Ash?" He saw him.

"Ash! Don't run off on your own like that!" Jasper said catching up too him. "Alola, Sophocles." He greeted.
"Riolu." Leo is on his shoulder.
"Sand." Snowball is in his duffle bag.

"Jasper?" Sophocles saw him.

Ash saw Sophocles' expression. "Huh, you look down. What's the matter?" He asked.
"Did something happened?" Jasper asked.

"Huh? Uh, n-nothing." Sophocles said, the three starts making their way into the building.

"Do you have a stomachache?" Ash asked.

"N-Not quite..." Sophocles trailed off.

"Pika!" Pikachu greeted Togedemaru, but was confused when Togedemaru looks away. "Pika?"

[Classroom]

Inside of the classroom, class has started.

Kukui looked towards the class. ""Are you familiar with the Pokémon Ability "Battery"?" He asked. "Pokémon that have this Ability are able to increase the power of moves. Now, do you know which Pokémon have this Ability?"

"Once this week is up, I won't spend any more time in this classroom either..." Sophocles thought to himself looking out of the classroom.

"Sophocles?" Kukui called.

The others glanced towards Sophocles who was lost in his thoughts.

"Sophocles!" Mallow whispered-called.

"Huh?" Sophocles said breaking out from his train of thoughts. He looks in front after Mallow points towards Kukui.

"Didn't you hear my question?" Kukui asked.

"Uh... no." Sophocles answered with a sweat-drop.

"It's unusual for you to not pay attention when I'm talking about Electric types." Kukui noted.

"I'm really sorry." Sophocles apologized rubbing the back of his head.

The others in the class laughs.

Sophocles laughs a bit. "So, Professor Kukui doesn't know I'm moving? Or, does he know, but is just trying to act like nothing's wrong?" He thought to himself, noting how Kukui doesn't seem to know that he is moving, or is pretending to not know. "Yeah, that must be it. Okay, I'll keep it a secret from everyone as well, then."

The class is now having gym class.

"Today's gym class will be a baton relay race." Kukui told everyone. "The rules are simple: First the Pokémon will run, then the Trainer. Got that?" He asked.
