You caught your breath and put your hand out. "Okay, Time out. Let me catch my breath."

Wade smiled and shook his head. "No, you need to learn the basic steps of fighting. There's still more I need to teach you."

There was an interruption by a knock at the door. Wade looked at you and murmured, "Ah, perfect timing. Our mutant friend is here to join the party! Or, you know, the potential slaughter-fest."

He opened the door to reveal Angel with a scowl that could rival his own. "Oh, great," Wade remarked, "Our very own mutant grumpus has arrived! Come on in, sunshine! We were just discussing our plan to use you as bait." He turned to you and whispered, "Don't worry, I'm sure she won't mind being the sacrificial lamb."

Angel stomped her foot hard on Deadpool's foot, earning a grunt. "Hey, watch it, Wade. I'm here to help, not to be insulted."

Wade chuckled. "Oh, I'm shaking in my boots. Or, at least, I would be if I weren't wearing my favorite merc-with-a-mouth-themed socks."

"Alright," you interrupted. "Let's get back to business. I know you want Angel to go as bait but that's impossible." You inhaled deeply and fell back into the couch. "I've thought about this hard. They won't try kidnapping Angel again if it already failed once, maybe once knowing she's a powerful mutant too. They'd want their hands on something that's already owned to them, and that's me."

No one argued because they both knew it's true.

The mutant girl nodded, her expression serious. "When they take you, we'll follow them and that's how we'll get inside."

Wade grinned. "Oh, I love it when people say 'get inside'. It sounds so... cozy. Like we're going to have a slumber party with the kidnappers."

Alright, it was time to set the trap. You went by Wade and held his face, while you kissed him deeply. "Don't worry, y/n. I'll be watching your back. Or should I say, your front? Since you're the bait and all."

"Lets get this over with."

-----

You waited patiently for the clock to strike 8pm. You walked aimlessly around, pretending to go for a night stroll. The mutant girl and Wade were hiding in the shadows, watching and waiting.

Wade said they needed you alive, but that doesn't mean without a scratch. Minutes ticked by and just when you thought no one was stalking you, a sleek black car stopped behind you.

Your heart palpitated in your chest. You had to pretend you knew nothing like this was going to happen so you showed your real fear. You turned around, looked at two men stepping out with masks on their face, and you began to run. You ran your fastest, but deep down you knew you were still going to get caught. You need to get caught and just like that, a man stepped forward in your path with a cloth in his hand and held it to your mouth. A man came from the back and lifted you off the ground.

That's the only thing you remembered before you blacked out.

-----------------------

Wade and Angel snuck into the dilapidated warehouse through a ventilation shaft. They found themselves in a dimly lit hallway, the air thick with the stench of decay where they found another ventilation shaft.

Wade's voice whispered in the darkness. "You know, I never thought I'd be crawling through a ventilation shaft with a mutant ninja. This is the first."

Angel rolled her eyes.

As they approached the vent cover, Angel carefully removed the screws, and Wade pushed it opened. They exchanged a nod, and Wade hoisted himself out, his eyes scanning the area.

They found themselves in a cramped dimly lit corridor, the walls lined with peeling paint and rusty pipes.

"Who would've known we'd make a great team ninja-girl. Now let's kick some -"

Angels hand on his arm silenced him. "Wait."

She cocked her head, listening. Wade followed suit, his acute hearing picking up the muffled sounds of voices, footsteps, and... whimpering?

Wade drew his katanas, the blades whispering against their sheaths. Angel raised her hands, her eyes flashing with a fierce inner light.

Back to you, you found yourself in a dingy windowless room, the air thick with the stench of mold. A faint hum of fluorescent lights overhead cast eerie shadows on the walls.

As your gaze adjusted to the dim light, you saw that you were chained to the floor, a thick metal cuff clasped around your ankle. Panic set in as you tugged at the chain, but it was unyielding.

The room was sparse, with no furniture except for a bed in the corner. The walls were cracked, and the floor was covered in a thin layer of dust.

You heard footsteps outside, and the door to the room creaked open. A burly man with a cruel grin entered, carrying a tray with a meager meal and a glass of water.

Yeah, no. I'm definitely not eating that.

"Welcome, little one," he sneered, setting the tray down. "You'll be our guest for a while. Don't bother trying to escape. The chains are reinforced, and there's no windows to escape."

He turned to leave, but paused, his gaze lingering on you. "You're a special one, I hear. The boss will be very interested in meeting you."
