~Aurora's POV~
~Saturday June 17th, 2023~
~Later That Day~Hours have gone by and we were all still trying to figure out Jaime's and Nathan's motives. Early this morning, Billy called Steve to let us know that Nathan had gone by Celeste's house and nearly threatened her. So, we are now aware that he knows that we have our suspicions. Since we know this now, we have been trying to keep a low profile.
Once we received the news, we all met up with Robin and Nancy at Robin's beach house.
"Alright, so what do we exactly know about Jaime?" Dustin asked.
"Well, according to Nathan, he has known Oliver for a long time and that he is like me and Oliver." Eddie replied.
"Yeah, is that all we know?" Robin asked.
"Not necessarily. Since Dustin, Lucas, and I have been looking into things, we have found new information about him." Max explained.
"What kind of information?" Rowena asked.
"Well, we asked around, and it turns out that Jaime is known to come and go. And there has been reports of mysterious things out in wooded areas. People have come across interesting things. Much like what we came across years ago. On the day that..." Max started.
"What is it Max?" Steve asked.
Max looked over at Steve and then she finally spoke.
"The day that Eddie was attacked." Max replied.
I looked over at Eddie and he had a look of shock. Max then turned her head to look at Eddie.
"Dustin, Lucas, and I looked into it and we think that what happened to you last summer wasn't an accident Eddie. Perhaps it was. But, we think that Jaime may have been hiding out there and that is what you, Dustin, and Steve stumbled upon that day." Max explained.
Everyone in the room all looked over at Eddie.
Eddie's eyes then went wide and his features went from shock to anger. He got up from the chair and walked out of the house.
"Shit." I whispered.
"Oh boy. You better..." Nancy started.
"I am." I said.
I got up from the room and went out of the house as well. I saw Eddie sitting at the foot of the stairs of the patio.
I walked over to him and he had his face in his hands. He was breathing hard and I could tell he was close to going off in the deep end.
I sat next to him and just stayed quiet for a few moments. I looked over at him and waited.
I scooted closer to him and slowly put my hand on his shoulder.
Eddie took his hands off of his face, but was still looking down.
I took a deep breath and spoke.
