~Aurora's POV~
                                                             ~Saturday June 17th, 2023~

I could not believe my eyes. The man that we had been searching for was alive and he was indeed not missing.

He was standing right in front of Eddie and I.

"Oliver?" I rasped.

"Yeah. It's me. Wait...what happened to you?" Oliver asked.

Just as Oliver was about to kneel down next to the couch, Eddie stood up and shoved him off.

"You are the one asking questions? We have been looking for you since we arrived and you have been here safe and sound! Start explaining!." Eddie growled.

"Eddie please." Nancy pleaded.

"You stay out of this Wheeler!" Eddie exclaimed.

"Guys, stop. All of this arguing is not going to get anywhere." I rasped.

I looked over at Nancy and Jaime and then back over to Eddie and Oliver.

Oliver looked down and focused his eyes on something peculiar. I knew he was looking at the bite mark that Eddie had given me earlier.

He looked back up and looked at me.

"She is right. We will not get anywhere with all of this arguing." Oliver stated.

"So, then explain where you have been." Eddie said.

"I have been hiding out and I only showed up to Nancy's house late last night with Jaime. While I was hiding out, I found out some information and I heard Jaime was back in town. So, I called him and he suggested that I come here for safety." Oliver stated.

Oliver's words were fading out as I started to fall asleep on the couch.

"Eddie." I rasped.

Eddie looked back over to me and walked over and kneeled next to the couch. He put his hand on my head and rubbed it gently.

"I'm here angel." Eddie whispered.

Eddie had his free hand holding my right hand, the hand that possessed the wrist of the bite marks.

My eyelids started getting droopy and everything was starting to fade.

"Aurora, baby. Stay awake for me." Eddie whispered.

"Eddie." Oliver called out.

I saw Eddie look back at Oliver and he spoke again.

"She is okay. Believe me. But, you and I need to talk." Oliver said.

"I'm not leaving her." Eddie gritted.

"Eddie, it's important." Oliver pleaded.

I saw Eddie close his eyes and then opened them back up. He looked back over at me and placed a tender kiss on my lips and then to my forehead and stayed close to my face.

"I'll be back okay." Eddie whispered.

"Okay." I rasped.

He placed another kiss on my forehead and I saw him leave with Oliver.
