                                   ~Late Evening~

As Billy and I pulled up to my house, I just sat in Billy's passenger seat. Billy and I stayed silent the entire ride home.

There was so many things that I wanted to say to him.

Both of us had already had the realization of tonight.

From me killing Nathan, embracing Billy, and telling him that I thought I had lost him was so much.

I looked over at Billy and he was gripping the steering wheel and looking out in the distance.

"Billy, can you please say something?" I whispered.

Since tonight's events had happened, Billy hasn't said anything to me.

I simply did not understand. One second he was embracing me and now he was avoiding me at all costs.

"Billy, please. Will you at least look at me?" I whispered.

Billy took his grip off of the steering wheel and set his hands in his lap.

I unbuckled my seatbelt and turned my body towards him.

"Celeste, what are we? I mean, what is this?" Billy asked.

"What do you mean? We are together. I love you Billy." I said.

"Well, you shouldn't!! I have done terrible things in my life. Even before I became this ghastly creature, I was terrible!! When I was turned, I hurt people. I turned Steve into what I was!! And now...that I am no longer this creature, I don't know what I will do now!!" Billy cried.

"Billy, what is all this? Why are you saying all of this?" I cried.

        "Because...what if this...you and me...I can't." Billy cried.

I looked down at my lap and looked over at Billy.

I grabbed the door handle and then spoke.

        "You can't...or you won't?" I cried.

Billy looked over at me and tears were in his eyes and his lip was quivering.

I felt stray tears come down my face and I looked down and nodded.

I opened the car door and got out of his car.

I had walked up the patio stairs of my house when I heard Billy's voice.

        "Celeste, wait!" Billy called out.
