Chapter 1: 2 out of 3.

     Xavier, Alex, and Tailor have been childhood friends for a while now, and they're starting school soon. But, Recently, Their friendship has been falling apart for the past few months because, Alex and tailor recently started dating. With that being said, its caused Xavier to not spend as much time with them as he used to. Tailor understands that Xavier isn't happy about it so she likes posting pictures online of herself and Alex. Well, Xavier has gotten extremely tired of the two, and has been rotting in his room for weeks. His older brother, Cayden  noticed something was wrong with him, so he went to Xavier's room to talk to him.

He knocked on the door. "Hello?" He says. "What do you  want?" Mumbled Xavier. Cayden opened the door, and sat next to him. "Hey.. you haven't been acting yourself lately.. is everything okay?" He asked. "Everything's fine i guess.. its just that.. Alex and Tailor started dating a few months ago, causing me to spend less time with them and I'm worried our friendship is falling apart.." Said Xavier. "Oh. I can understand how that could make you think that." Replied Cayden. "I Just don't understand why things have to change.. Can't they date and still  hang out with me?" He mumbled. "Things change, Xavier. Its a necessary part of life, even I have to go through it." Cayden explained

Xavier Looked at his brother and smiled. He was still upset, but he didn't want to tell Cayden to shut up because he thought it was rude. "C'mon, Cheer up. I'm sure things will get better. Okay?" he said. Xavier thanked his brother than left the room. He sat on the couch, and went on his phone. He saw a text message from Alex. The text said 'Hey do you want to go to the carnival? I feel like we haven''t talked in a while.'  Xavier looked at the text and smiled. He then replied to the text. it said: 'Sure what time?'  'How about 8:30?'  'That'll work, see ya!'  Xavier was excited about the plans he made with his friend for tonight. He had 4 hours until it was time to go, so he decided to pass the time by doing something he enjoyed. He ate  Dinner, and began to head out. "Where are you going?" Asked Cayden. "Alex invited me to go to the carnival. I'll be back  by 11pm Okay?" Exclaimed Xavier. "Alright! Call me if you need anything." Said cayden.
