The next morning, Ariana got ready early, putting on some mascara and concealer, brushing out her hair and putting on some gym clothes.

Around 7, just as he promised, Aaron knocked on Ari's door. She opened it and allowed him to enter as she gathered her rehearsal bag.

"Ready to go?" He asked as she stood up.

She nodded and they went to the Starbucks near their hotel. Ariana had said it was her favourite after Aaron had asked what she got yesterday during rehearsal.

"So, tell me more about yourself." Aaron said to the girl as they cued for their drinks.

"What do you wanna know?" Ariana was becoming unusually flustered by how close he was to her.

He paused to think of a question, "What's your dream role in a musical?"

"Maybe, Galinda in Wicked. I just think she would be so fun to play, and to sing popular every night would just be amazing." She answered, smiling at the thought. She always loved Galinda and it would definitely be a dream to play her, "What's your dream role?" She asked Aaron.

"Well, Next To Normal was a really good role and I'm grateful for that one, but I'm no really sure what my dream role is, I'm just open to everything really." He answered as they reached the cash register.

"Hi what can I get you today?" The lady asked them with a smile.

Ariana looked up to Aaron who gestured for her to go first.

"Can I get a caramel iced latte?" She ordered.

"Of course, what size?"

"A grande, please." She went to get her money from her pocket but Aaron stopped her.

"No, I'll pay. It was my idea." He stepped in front to order, "Can I get an iced Americano, also a grande?"

"Of course, your total is $8." Aaron payed with his card and they moved to the collection point.

Ariana frowned and said, "You didn't have to pay for me."

"I know, but it's the nice thing to do." He answered.

"Yeah, but now I feel bad." She told him, "I'm paying the next time."

"Deal." He smiled at her and his name was called out for the order, "You're drink."

They started walking to the studio, seeing as they needed to be there by 8:30.

"So what's your life like back in London?" Aaron asked.

"Well, I just came off Mamma Mia which was fun but when I'm not performing I just go out with my friends or visit my family." She told him.

Aaron shifted before asking, "Do you have a boyfriend?"

"Why, you wanna ask me out?" She joked, quoting the scene from scream.

He chuckled nervously before saying, "Not yet, just wondering?"

Not yet? "No, I've kind of been too busy for one."

"Makes sense." They both stopped in front of the rehearsal studio and entered but Ari couldn't get what Aaron said out of her head.

Was she overthinking it? She decided on speaking with Nicole and Tracy about it seeing as they'll have some advice for her.

They both pushed the studio door open and were greeted by their cast members, Neil and their composer at the piano.

"Welcome back, guys!" Neil greeted them with a smile, "I think today, we'll get through act 2 pretty quick and then we can work on Seasons of Love before we all go home. Does that sound good to everyone?"

When he got a chorus of agreement, the rehearsal started. By lunch, they had finished act 2 and Ariana thought it was a good time to speak with Nicole and Tracy.

"Guys, can I ask you about something?" Ariana walked up to them as they spoke together.

Nicole smiled, "Of course."

"So today I went to get coffee with Aaron and he started asking questions about myself, one being if I had a boyfriend. I answered with 'Why, you wanna ask me out' as a joke and he said 'not yet.' Basically what I'm asking is, am I overthinking it, or did he mean something by that?"

"Oh, he's so into you." Tracy answered immediately, "I could see it yesterday when you were talking."

"I agree, he wouldn't ask that if he wasn't interested. He asked because he's trying to figure out if you're available." Nicole told her.

Ariana could feel her cheeks become more heated by this information but before she could ask more, they were called to gather round the piano.

"Okay, let's start with the girls' harmonies and then add in the boys." The composer suggested.

He started playing the opening to the song and the three girls got ready to sing. Once they had finished their part, the composer did the boys' harmonies and finally it was time to put them together.

It went pretty smoothly, but they still had work to do and they also had to add the ensemble into the song.

Ariana walked beside the cast as they headed back to the hotel, but as they talked, she stayed silent. She couldn't get Aaron out of her head and Nicole and Tracy now made her think about whether Aaron did like her?

It made her realise the weird feeling she felt around him. She was nervous, yet so happy whenever she spent time with him. She felt like giggling with excitement whenever he spoke to her and it became aware to her that she had developed a high school crush on him.

Suddenly, his voice broke through her thoughts, "Are you okay? You're pretty quiet back here." He fell back into step with her whilst the rest of the group carried on ahead of them.

Immediately, a smile grew on her face, "I'm good, just trying to go over lines in my head."

"I'll let you off then." He joked, "I was gonna ask if you wanted to make the morning coffee run a daily thing? I really enjoy spending time with you, so it's a nice opportunity to get some alone time."

"Yeah, of course." She smiled, "Same time tomorrow, then?" When Aaron nodded, they came to a stop outside the hotel.

Aaron pulled the door open, gesturing for Ari to go in before him. They took the elevator up to their floor and went their separate ways.
