Elara's PoV:
So... impending doom. Yay.
Elara couldn't sleep that night, she was lying on her bunk and just staring up at the celling, wondering how much time she had left. It was strange, really, you would think that she would be terrified, but she was just curious; when was she going to die? How was she going to be killed by Leo? Like, there's no doubting he's strong, but he seemed really chill with her... what does she do wrong?
She decided that she was going to avoid him: if she wasn't near the son of Hephaestus then he wouldn't be able to kill her, right? Right.
Then there was the problem with Jason. What was he going to do to her? Was he going to be the one to push her off of something. Or, maybe, because he can fly, he'll drop her from a great height. That could be a possibility.
Anyway, steering clear of the guy that smells awful too.
Finally, there was the prophecy of eight. There wasn't really anything she could do about that other than go with the rest of them.
How was she supposed to avoid Leo and Jason if they're all going on a quest together?
Forget what she said earlier: Elara was terrified.
Wait-
If she was going to die to fire, does that mean that she can be a complete dumbass and do super dangerous stuff (that doesn't involve fire) with no consequence? Hell yeah!
With that thought, she drifted off into a peaceful and merciful sleep with no dreams. Thank the Gods.

In the morning, she headed straight to the camp showers to take a wash.
It was at the crack of dawn and the sky was being painted beautiful shades of orange and pink. It was truly lovely.
Looking over to the woods behind her, she realised how eager she was to meet with her other friend Grover (as well as Percy, but she'd have to wait longer for him).
Grover is a really great guy and the one who took her, Annabeth, Luke and Thalia to camp. As you might've guessed, he's a satyr and -as you may not have guessed- he's the lord of the wild.
Yup, that's right. He's awesome.
Elara decided that she was going to Iris message him that day to see when he'd be able to visit camp again... if Iris messages were working again, that is.
As she approached one of the shower rooms, a melodic sound came flooding over o her ears. It was an Oasis song, she thought; it was beautiful and emotional once you put it to context of what she's been through. All she could think of was Zoë.
She couldn't quite place her finger on which song it was, so just stood outside of the door for a while, closing her eyes and enjoying the sound of music. Whoever was singing was amazing.
"'Cause all of the stars
Are fading away
Just try not to worry
You'll see them someday
Just take what you need
And be on your way
And stop crying your heart out."
She could feel tears pricking the corners of her eyes and she forced them shut as the tears threatened to spill. She was never going to see the stars again after this: this was her final act. Her final days, months, if she's lucky, but demigods are never lucky.
