Elara's PoV:

So... Elara realised that she really is an idiot. Yes, we've already established this... but still!

The hunters had left, Elara had gotten kicked out of school (exploded a chemistry classroom, oops), February had ended and it was now the 8th of March, yet no one knew why the Canadians wouldn't die!

She was thinking about this while in the strawberry fields, you know... picking strawberries... what else would she be doing there?

She remembered that encounter, how she felt ready to pass out at any given moment and had been fighting for hours on end before the others came to help. Then, with more people, they were able to scatter the monster dust before those monsters could re-form.

Annabeth was mad that she'd missed such a big fight.

Then, like every time she's left alone with her thoughts, she began to think once more about that time when Luke had left to go to Tartarus so that he could collect the pieces of Cronos.

She couldn't bare thinking about it. She despised it!

But she had good reason to. Annabeth knew it. Percy knew it. All of the Gods knew it.

She would never talk about what had happened that month to anyone, but they could only guess what she had been through and comforted her. Even Zeus would have been scared to do what she had done, even though it broke her so, so, so much.

"Lara." Chiron trotted up to her, taking the basket of strawberries from her hands. "I've just gotten a call from Annabeth's school. Jason's been suspended."

"What?" She wondered in astonishment, standing up and trying to rub strawberry juice off of her jeans. Update: it didn't work. They were horribly stained.

"Yes." He sighed. "Please would you get changed then pick him up for me. You're the fastest one here and we don't have a car to hand at the moment."

"Sure." She headed over to the Hermes cabin. What could he have possibly done?

"Never fear, Lara is here." She burst through the door into reception, her hair in a high ponytail and wearing some black flair jeans with a white T-shirt. Chiron approved.

The teacher who was scolding Jason until that point stopped and stared in disbelief as his ex-student came in. The son of Jupiter looked so fed up and annoyed, she was surprised that he hadn't punched the teacher.

It was really funny to her that all of the people there were just staring at her, mouths hung open and eyes wide. She simply grinned at all of them, then turned her attention back to her friend and the teacher.

"What's happened?" She asked, looking at a sullen Jason Grace who was slouched on his chair, yet surprise was evident on his face as he probably wasn't expecting her to come to collect him.

The teacher straightened up and cleared his throat before talking, glaring at the girl. "He hospitalised another student. There was no reason for him to do such a thing."

"Sort your fucking priorities out, dipshit. Would you like us to have fucking died?" The son of Jupiter grumbled in Latin.

Ooh, what a rebel. The daughter of Hermes thought. Please note the sarcasm.

She rolled her eyes and held up her hand casually to silence the teacher, acting bored and ignoring Jason. "I wasn't talking to you." She gave him a pointed look, then asked the question again. "What happened?"

"Monster attack." Jason responded with a shrug, still in Latin. "Leo, Annabeth and Piper weren't there."

"Alright then." She responded in Latin, then switched back to English. "If that's all there is, we're going to Starbucks."
