Aiah's POV

6:00am

I woke up rushing to check my phone. Natulugan ko si Mikha!!! I kennat.

'hmmm' ito lang reply niya.

I don't know bakit nalungkot ako, am I expecting more?  Kaya natulog na lang ako ulit. I messaged Jho na gisingin na lang niya ako pag gising niya.

Parang feeling ko kakapikit ko pa lang ginigising na ko ni Jho.

"Aiah, I'm craving waffles"

Napabangon ako... Why is everyone craving this stuff?

"Gusto ko rin ng pancake!" I suddenly wanted one as well. What the heck, Aiah.

I checked my phone, na off ko ba to kanina? Why is it off?

Nag ready lang kami ni Jho then we left.

We actually have waffles and pancakes in the cafe pero usually what we do, we visit our competitors in the area para updated kami sa mga new products nila and all that. Know your enemy ika nga nila.

8 mins drive yung next target namin kaya nag car nalang kami. When we arrived at the cafe, nag order kami agad ni Jho and so far naka pwesto agad kami kasi kaunti lang tao.  

Like the usual, we always compare their product to ours. Especially sa price and sa quality. Their price is cheaper but quality-wise, we still think dopamine pa rin sakalam!

Sakto we already finished eating when Kuya Ronald from the cafe called, medyo kinabahan ako, I hope wala namang issue sa cafe.

"Ma'am Aiah good morning po, may applicant po now, hinahanap po kayo actually"

"Applicant? Anong name niya?"

"For Barista daw po. Mikha Lim po name niya" What? Joke time ba 'to.

"Okay tell her to wait"

I turned back to Jho. "May applicant daw."

"Sige ikaw na bahala diyan, drop mo muna ako sa S&R, I'll call you pag tapos na me"

Actually sanay na kami na sa walk in applicants sa cafe. And actually, we just ask them to send their CVs so we can call them if we need in the future.

But today, I'm willing to interview this applicant. Aba Maraiah, what is this attitude?

So I arrived at the cafe and I saw Mikha sitting in the corner, gosh I can't believe Mikha is really here. Nahiya ako ng very light kasi natulugan ko siya kagabi tapos hindi ko pa siya namessage.

"Ms. Mikha Lim??? Nice to see you again!"

"Wehhh" she pouted. "....di mo nga ko rineplayan eh."

"Uyy sorry na po, super pagod ko kagabi."

"Libre mo nalang ako pancake." natawa ako, cravings pala niya yun.

"Anything else ma'am?" 

"Best with black coffee syempre." at dahil feeling ko di ko na enjoy yung pancake ko kanina plus nakakahiya naman na di ko sabayan si Mikha, nag order ako ng dalawa.

When our order arrived, we started eating then I remembered "Why did you tell them na applicant ka?" I asked.

"You don't think I'm serious?" she actually looked dead serious...
