Aiah's POV

1:00 pm

You know those kinds of naps na pag gising mo hindi mo maalala kung anong araw or anong oras na ba. Like you have to hardly recall ano bang nangyari before you slept.

Joke lang, alalang alala ko pa rin yung last night with Mikha. Hello, who wouldn't forget that? Excited na nga ko sa part 2 eh.

Aiah, di na kita kinakaya, what's happening with you? You and your filthy thoughts.

I checked the time, it's already 1 in the afternoon. Wow, that was a good nap! Kaya pala I feel so refreshed and energetic. Readyng ready na ako for tonight. I mean, to cook for Mikha mga ganern.

Kayo, kung anu-ano iniiisp niyo? Tama na kayo!

So bumangon na ako to check yung fridge, and wow ang daming stocks infairness to Jho. Sobrang health conscious kasi nun and mas prefer niya talaga ang home cooked meals, kaya natuto rin ako magluto sa kanya.

I started to believe na rin na cooking for someone will always be an act of love. Uy, so love mo na si Mikha niyan?

I mean what's bad about cooking for a friend.

Na-excite ako bigla, ang dami kong naisip lutuin kaso di ko alam ano mga comfort food ni Mikha.
Baka mamaya may allergies pa pala siya.

I decided to air fry both salmon and chicken to be on the safe side. Tapos may mushroom soup. Perfect! If ayaw pa niya niyan, edi lumayas na siya sa pamamahay na to!! Char.

Since may time pa naman I marinated the chicken muna then I decided to tidy up the condo. I realized medyo makalat and dusty pala when Mikha went kanina.

It was passed 2 when I finished, nalinis ko pati kwarto ni Jho kaloka. Sobrang satisfying.

ring ring

I picked up my phone. Kanina pa siguro nag ri-ring to. Nag va-vacuum kasi ako kanina.

'yes hello, how can I help you Mr. Manuel?'

'nako napakatagal sumagot, hirap mo na talaga ma reach, nagbago ka na'

'kahit kelan ka talaga, napaka drama mo alam mo yun'

'sa condo ka ba?'

'secret'

'ano nga, Maraiah?'

'galit ka na niyan? andito ako condo, miss mo ba ko?'

'ice cream tayo dali, mainit ulo ko.'

That's my guy best friend, Sebastian Manuel. Nothing more, nothing less, just a guy friend. Maniwala man kayo o sa hindi, we tried to be more. Kaso wala talaga, I guess hindi kami talo. Baka si baby girl talaga for me. Eyy.

Pag baba ko ng condo I saw him nakakunot ang noo, he was standing in front of his car.

"Oh. Napano ka?"

"Nagasgasan auto ko, te." habang turo niya doon sa side ng car niya na ang habang gasgas nga. Nako, he loves his car more than anything else. Magasgasan na lahat wag lang kotse niya.

"Hayaan mo na, bili ka nalang bago." actually sobrang big time niyan ni Baste. Sobrang sarap i-flex kasi sobrang dami na rin niyang na-achieve sa life. Business trips here and there. Bihira ko na rin siya makasama kasi sobrang busy na namin pareho.

"Napaka mo talaga, Aiah."

"Ice cream na tayo, may date pa ko."

"Wow, who's the lucky guy?" then he paused "or girl?" of course, real bestie knows.

Still, sobrang appreciate ko when he makes time para makapag bond kami like now, laging go to name yung ice cream pub dito malapit.

Nag take out na lang kami then inaya ko siya mag lakad lakad.

"I saw your live nung opening nung new branch ninyo, so proud of you!" then he continued "Kamusta si Jho? I saw nasa Siargao siya."

"Yiee, stalker." medyo bet niyan si Jho kaso super manang nun pag usapang love life. Talagang focus siya sa business and self love muna talaga sya.

"Gusto mo pala sumilip sa branch? Pakilala kita kay baby girl. Kaso baka agawin mo sakin ha." alok ko sa kanya kasi malapit na rin kami. Parang I wanted to check on Miks din, miss ko na siya.

"May the best man win"

Pag dating namin ng cafe, ate Ica greeted us, pero I looked around, wala si Miks?

"Huy Baste kamusta? Long time!"

"Hi Ate Ics ito pogi pa rin. Balita ko may chicks daw dito." siniko ko nga, sarap isako nito.

"Pinauwi ko na si Miks, Aiah. She looked tired na rin kanina."

"So Miks' the name huh" bulong sakin ng kapreng katabi ko.

"Ay thank you ate, medyo puyat nga yun kagabi." pinuyat ko po, opo.

Onting snacks and chika lang with Baste then we left the cafe.

I checked on my phone and it's 5:00pm na. I tried to call Miks but no response from her. I thought baka nakatulog siya. Maybe I'll just call her again later.

I went back sa condo to start cooking. I kept looking at my phone with hopes na she'd call back soon.

It's 6:00 pm and all set na. Sobrang excited na ako. Pero I still did not hear from Miks. Why am I starting to worry? Pwede ko naman siyang puntahan sa unit niya ulit pero parang OA naman.

Another hour had passed and still no signs of Mikha.

Did she just ditch me?

She could've just told me if she won't be able to come.
