In an unknown location, the mysterious girl reappeared in what looked to be a high-tech lab, where three individuals were waiting for her.
"Kara, where were you?" one of the scientists snapped, glaring at her with a mixture of anger and concern.
"You know you're not supposed to leave without permission," the second scientist added, his tone equally harsh.
Kara, her face showing a mixture of restraint and confusion, looked down. "I wanted to see my older brother," she said softly, her voice carrying a hint of longing.
A deep, authoritative voice echoed through the lab, silencing the scientists. "Ah, Kara. My dear daughter." All For One, the feared leader of the League of Villains, stepped forward, his presence commanding and ominous. "You must be patient. Soon enough, you will be with your brother once he joins us."
Kara looked up at All For One, her eyes filled with a twisted mix of hope and obedience. "Really, Father? When will that be?"
"Soon, my child," All For One replied with a sinister smile. "Everything is proceeding as planned. Your brother will come to us. And when he does, our family will be complete."
The scientists exchanged uneasy glances but remained silent, knowing better than to interrupt their leader.
All For One turned his gaze to them. "Ensure that Kara is properly monitored from now on. We cannot afford any more unexpected excursions."
"Yes, sir," they replied in unison, bowing their heads.
Kara looked back at All For One, a flicker of doubt crossing her eyes. "Father, what if he doesn't want to join us?"
All For One's smile widened, a dark glint in his eyes. "He will, Kara. He may resist at first, but in the end, he will see that this is where he belongs. You just need to have faith."
Kara nodded, the brainwashing and conditioning she'd undergone suppressing any lingering doubts. "Yes, Father. I understand."
"Good," All For One said, his voice softening slightly. "Now, return to your quarters and rest. We have much to prepare for."
Kara obeyed, leaving the lab under the watchful eyes of the scientists.
As she walked away, All For One turned to the scientists. "Ensure everything is ready for when the time comes. We cannot afford any mistakes."
"Understood, sir," they responded, already moving to carry out his orders.
As Kara walked away, All For One watched her intently, a frown slowly forming on his face. "It's strange," he mused aloud, causing the scientists to pause in their tasks and look at him with curiosity and apprehension.
"Sir?" one of the scientists ventured cautiously.
All For One's eyes narrowed. "The mind control I used on her... it faltered. She showed signs of resistance. Remembering her brother, her brother, expressing a desire to see him. those were not thoughts I implanted, I'm even more surprised she remembers him after all.."
The scientists exchanged worried glances. One of them stepped forward. "It's possible that it's due to the different procedures we used in the two of them, the effects we used on Subject S was more extreme, the type of experiments we did on Subject X were more refined once we achieved the results with Superman, the Trauma was less with her."
All For One nodded thoughtfully. "It seems so."
"What should we do, sir?" the second scientist asked, his voice trembling slightly.
All For One's gaze hardened. "We continue with our plan. Kara must be monitored more closely, and we must ensure that she does not deviate again. But more importantly, we need to prepare for the eventual confrontation. If anyone can break the Man of Steel, it's her."
