Everything unfolded in a blur for Izuku. He first caught sight of the blue fire flickering ominously in the distance. Then came the shock of Pixie-Bob getting injured, followed by Kai being attacked. The chaos left the students vulnerable, surrounded by two villains and flanked by Tiger and Mandalay. How many villains were there? Were his classmates okay? Panic gripped him as his thoughts turned to Kota—the kid was out there, likely hiding alone in some secret spot.

"Everyone!" Izuku heard her call, her voice steady amidst the chaos. "The two of us will hold them back here! Go, everyone! Listen carefully. Do not fight. Class rep, you're in charge!"

"Understood! Let's go! Midoriya!" Lida shouted, urgency in his tone.

"Go on ahead!" Tiger urged, his expression fierce.

"I can't just leave!" Izuku shouted back, desperation creeping into his voice. "Mandalay!"

"Midoriya?!" Mandalay replied, surprise cutting through her resolve.

"I know where he is!" Izuku declared, his heart pounding.

Meanwhile, Kota watched the forest burn, his fear mounting as he heard Mandalay's voice urging him to return.

"Kota! Kota! Can you hear me?" Mandalay's telepathic voice rang out in his mind. "Hurry back to camp! I'm sorry! I don't know where you usually go off to. I can't come save you! Come back as soon as you can!"

Suddenly, a voice echoed from a nearby cave in his secret hideout. "I tried searching somewhere with a nice view, and I ended up finding a face not on our list. Hey, by the way, you've got a nice hat there, kid. Trade with me for this lame mask." The man grinned, and Kota instinctively stepped back, terror coursing through him.

"They made me wear this toy since I'm new," the man continued, nonchalantly adjusting the mask on his face. "Said they couldn't get the shipment in time or something."

Kota's fear intensified as he recalled the report of the villain who had killed his parents. The details flooded his mind, haunting him:

In an instant, Izuku burst onto the scene, catching Kota in his arms and whisking him away from the villain, landing protectively in front of him.

"Hm? You were on the list," the villain said, eyeing Izuku with interest.

"I came to keep him from coming into contact with a villain!" Izuku retorted, adrenaline surging through him. "I can't believe a villain ended up right here! Damn it, my cellphone broke during the chaos. I came here without telling anyone, which means I can't hope for any reinforcements. Kai is fighting too, and even if I call him, he might not be able to come. It's just me... just me."

A wave of determination washed over him. "I have to do something about this villain by myself. Can I protect Kota at the same time? No, I can't think like that. I just must do it. Right now, with the power I have!" He turned to Kota, offering a reassuring smile. "It's going to be okay, Kota. I'll definitely save you!"
