A few minutes after their exam, Momo and Shoto entered the room where several of their classmates, including Izuku, were waiting for them.
"Guys, you did great!" Ochako exclaimed, jumping with excitement.
Momo smiled, feeling the warmth of her friend's encouragement. "Thank you, Uraraka. It was definitely intense, but we managed to pull through."
Shoto nodded in agreement. "Yeah, it was a tough fight, but we worked well together."
Izuku approached them with a relieved expression. "I'm so glad to see you guys made it out alright. You had us worried there for a moment."
"Thanks, you guys" Momo replied gratefully.
The group continued talking as the rest of the exams progressed. They watched as Mineta and Sero passed their exam by working together to outsmart Midnight. Jiro and Koda managed to defeat Present Mic after Koda overcame his fear of insects. Unfortunately, Kaminari and Mina weren't as lucky, falling victim to Principal Nezu's flawless strategy. Lastly, Uraraka and Aoyama managed to capture Thirteen in a surprising move, securing their victory.
With all the exams completed, the entire class gathered in the observation room, watching intently as their classmates prepared to face the most daunting challenge yet. Bakugo and Izuku were about to go up against Superman,
On the exit of his area, Kai was on the phone. "Sure, after the exams are finished, I'll take my flight. Don't worry, I won't tell your father about your surprise."
"Thank you, Kai he's been wanting to see you and uncle, might for a time now, but I still can't believe you're a teacher at UA," Melissa's voice came through the phone.
"What can I say? I'm full of surprises, and not to mention that y owed the favor to Nezu. Anyway, my exam is about to start. Wish me luck," Kai said with a chuckle.
"Do your best, Superman. I'll be waiting for you," Melissa replied before they ended the call.
As Kai stretched, preparing for the exam, Izuku and Bakugo entered the arena. Neither spoke a word. When the exam started, Bakugo walked forward with Izuku following closely.
"Bakugo, we need to work together," Izuku urged.
"I don't care. Stop following me," Bakugo snapped back.
Izuku's frustration grew. "This idiot really thinks he stands a chance against him?"
They continued moving forward, with Izuku trying to convince Bakugo to cooperate.
"We'll face him head-on, and when he's tired, I'll finish him," Bakugo declared.
"Do you really expect Superman, the son of All Might, to get tired? He's only five years older than us, don't you remember what Happened at USJ!" Izuku argued.
Before Izuku could say more, Bakugo hit him in the mouth. The observation room fell silent. Ochako and Momo exchanged worried glances, concern evident on their faces. Momo clenched her fists in frustration.
"How could he do that?" she muttered; her eyes glued to the scene.
"That's not how teammates should treat each other," Ochako said angrily.
"Don't they remember who their opponent is?" Recovery Girl asked. "I just hope Kai isn't too rough on them"
In the arena, Izuku stumbled backward, clutching his mouth. Despite the pain, he didn't retaliate, looking at Bakugo with hurt and disappointment.
"Don't you understand? It's suicide to face him head-on!" Izuku pleaded.
"I told you; I don't need you for this exam," Bakugo retorted.
