After several hours, the students finally arrived at the campgrounds, utterly exhausted and beat up, but all of them arrived together.
Kai observed their arrival with a hint of satisfaction. "They finally made it..."
"They did better than I expected" Aizawa muttered as they headed towards them,
Sato, barely able to stand, muttered, "You said it would only take three hours..."
Mandalay responded with a smile, "That's the time it would take us."
Pixie Bob added with a smirk, "I honestly thought it would take you more time, but you dealt with my beast with no trouble," She said as her turning towards a group of students "Especially you five!" She shouted at Izuku, Tenya, Momo, Shoto, and Katsuki.
"Well, now that you are all here," Kai said stepping forward. "You'll all have time to gather your things, and relax a bit, but tomorrow you'll be training nonstop."
With a composed yet curious expression, Izuku approached Kai and spoke quietly, "Um Kai," he asked his mentor "I have been wondering... since our arrival here. Who is that young boy," he said pointing at the boy standing beside Mandalay
Mandalay turned, a gentle hand resting upon the boy's shoulder. "Ah, young Kota," she replied softly, motioning towards the lad with an encouraging nod. "He is my dear cousin's son and, for the present, has come under my guardianship. Now, Kota," she said, her tone coaxing yet firm, "do not be timid. Offer these noble guests your greetings, for you shall be in their company for the duration of this week."
Izuku stepped forward, offering a warm, respectful bow. "Greetings, Kota. I am Midoriya Izuku, a student of the Hero Course at UA High School. It is an honor to make your acquaintance."
In a flash, young Kota's fist flew forward, landing an unexpected and unseemly blow upon Izuku's lower abdomen. Izuku gasped in shock, clutching himself. "Agh!" he cried.
With immediate indignation, Tenya rushed to his side, steadying him. "Young man, that was wholly dishonorable! A strike to such a vulnerable area is simply... unforgivable!"
Kota cast a defiant scowl towards them. "The last thing I want is to waste my time with wannabe heroes."
"Wannabe?" Tenya echoed, scandalized. "Such insolence! How old might you be, young sir, to speak in such a manner?"
Kirishima chuckled heartily, clapping Bakugo on the back. "This lad has spirit! Reminds me of Bakugo here, but pint-sized!"
Bakugo shot him a sharp glare. "Watch your words, or you'll find yourself blasted straight to hell."
Shoto glanced sidelong at Bakugo with a small smile. "He isn't wrong, though."
"Ahem!" Eraserhead cleared his throat. "Enough of this, all of you. Remove your belongings from the bus and settle into your quarters. Thereafter, we shall convene in the dining hall for supper. Tonight, you may bathe and rest. Training commences tomorrow, and it shall be rigorous. Now, off you go!"
As they made their way to their chambers, and then headed to have dinner. Sero leaned close to Ashido, his grin mischievous. "So, are you ladies housed in a mere hovel?"
Ashido raised an eyebrow. "Why, is your accommodation rather grand?"
Sero smirked. "Oh, you might say that. Care to come have a look later?"
As they reached the dining hall, Kirishima's eyes lit up. "This fare is marvelous!"
Kaminari, already well into his meal, groaned happily. "Ahh, this is divine! Just like Lunch Rush's finest! I'm certain I'll feast to bursting!"
