"so..." Gio dragged as we stood outside the club towards the back, to get some privacy from some of her supporters.
"uh huh..." i mimicked her, dragging my words.
she leaned against the wall, the lit up blunt she had in her hands now moving towards her mouth. "you gon let me take you out some time?"
i narrowed my eyes at her, watching her smoke her blunt. "for why?" i asked dumbly, mimicking her actions and leaning against the wall as well.
she jerked her head back, kissing her teeth. "can i not take you out? is that a problem?"
i pursed my lips, "nope, no problem."
"aye Gio," someone called out.
Gio and i turned around, glancing at her friends. Karrah walked over towards us, stopping and glancing between us. "i'm karrah." she held out her hand in a playful manner.
"yeah...Imani." i shook her hand, looking from her to the rest of the concrete boys. "anyways, i'm gonna go back to my friends." i pointed behind me.
"you ain't even answer my question." Gio voiced, turning her body towards me.
i opened my mouth and closed it, narrowing my eyes at her and really taking her in. "yeah, text me." i simply said, walking away from her and her friends after throwing them a smile.
i mean, how could i say no.
"so what happened?" Mari asked, leaning towards me with the rest of our friends after i sat down. "do ya'll kiss or what?"
i jerked my head, "the fuck do i look like? no, i didn't kiss her but she did look kissable." i sighed, shaking my head. "anyways, she asked me out and i said yes."
the girls clapped their hands while Mari snapped. "that's what i'm talking about. look at you not being a pussy for once."
i twisted my lip up. "fuck you, what happened while i was gone?"
"what happened is that Kali gon be on the internet on all over the internet tomorrow because why did Kehlani invite her up there to dance." Sha's mouth dropped open as she explained. "i was shocked."
"huh?" i asked, my eyes widening. "wow babes, you had a night tonight huh."
Kali smirked, shrugging her shoulders. "sure did. now i wanna go home and sleep so i can dream about that shit."
Mari chuckled, "let's call it a night?"
i nodded.

"bitch i told you it was gonna be all over the internet." Sha laughed. "i say ignore ignore ignore." she bit the tip of her nail, staring at the screen.
Kali groaned, "fans are crazy ya'll. i mean, they got me and Imani caught up? hell nah."
i rolled my eyes, looking at the tiktok of me and Gio sitting together at the club and then outside of the club talking. "they're gonna take this shit and run with it."
Kali nodded, "only difference is...you and Gio actually go together." she laughed softly, typing on her screen.
i mugged her, swiping out tiktok and pressing the facetime call to blow them up. "girl fuck you, we don't even go together."
"stop acting so nonchalant," Mari said as he sat next to me.
Mari was currently at my house because he was bored and Kali and Sha were already out and about doing shit. well, Sha was with her man.
"you know you happy as fuck." Mari said, raising an eyebrow at me. i cocked my head to the side, "kiss my ass." i said.
"sorry babes, that's for Gio."
my mouth dropped open causing them to laugh. i leaned up and grabbed my pillow and smacked him in the head. "you think you funny but you really not."
i laid on my stomach, picking my phone back up. my phone pinged with a notification from instagram. "why she just text me."
i said, trying not to smile.
"ouuu, answer it!" Sha said, sitting up on the bed she was currently laying on. she shushed her boyfriend when he said something before looking back at her phone in anticipation.
