˖𓍯ꕤ*. - IMANI'S APARTMENT ! - | five days later |
i was walking towards my apartment door with a few shopping back in my hand when i came to a pause. my heart started beating rapidly as i took in the person who was standing in front of my door, staring down at her phone.
wearing a black button down shirt, with a red leather jacket and black faded jeans was..."Gio?" i voiced, picking up my past to walk towards my door as she looked up at me with a smile.
her eyes scanned my body as she took in my black two piece set, my tazmins, and my brown and black fur coat. "hey baby." she pulled me into a hug as i finally made it to standing in front of her.
i grinned up at her. "hey. what are you doing back early?" i asked her with farrowed brows. she took my bags out of my hands for me so that i could open the door, letting us both in.
"taking you on a date." she nonchalantly stated, placing my bags on the kitchen island. "i was looking at your location, so i knew you where on the way home."
i pushed her shoulder lightly, "is that why you turned yours off?" i glared at her as she raised a shoulder with a playful glint in her eyes. "maybe."
i chuckled slightly, grabbing the sides of her jacket to pull her into me, her head tilted back as she stared down at me with an expression i knew all too well. i missed the way she looked at me.
"i missed you," i said.
"i missed you too," she leaned down placing a soft kiss to the corner of my lips, but not exactly kissing my lips which caused me to groan with closed eyes.
she laughed softly, wrapping her arms around my waist, underneath my fur coat. "come on, baby. after our date maybe i'll kiss you." she shrugged slightly.
i rolled my eyes, pulling her closer to me. "whatever. so where are we going?" i smiled.
she hummed as if she was thinking about something, looking away from my eyes before meeting mine again. "it's a surprise, but i can tell you that you can keep that on. where we're going you need to be warm and this shit," she tugged on my jacket. "should keep you warm."
i laughed, "you like it?" i backed away from her and gave her a mini spin. she nodded her head, grabbing onto my hand as her eyes ran down my body and back up.
"i do, but damn what animal had to die for that?"
i gasped, gripping onto my coat as i thought about. "why would you do that? that's so sad, i didn't even think about that when i bought this expensive shit." i ran my hands up and down the fur.
"it's okay, baby. it looks good and i bet they didn't even suffer." she waved her hand, before grabbing mine again and pulling me towards the door. "now, you do know how to skate right?" she asked as she opened the door for me, letting me walk out first.
"uh, i think." i shrugged.
she clicked her tongue to her teeth. "well, i'll teach you."

we went ice skating which ended with me landing on my ass i don't know how many times. "that was fun, even though i kept falling." i swayed mine and Gio's hands back and forth as we stopped in front of my door.
Gio chuckled, staring down at me as i lent against my door. "you survived though."
"well, i had you." i pulled her move from earlier and placed my hands underneath her jacket, my hands trailing up her back.
she grew silent as she took me in, her eyes dropped to my lips before slowly coming back up to my eyes. "listen, i think we should talk about..." she rocked her head back and forth causing me to do the same.
"the ex?" i scrunched my nose up.
"yeah," she whispered. "we did meet up alone...last night before i left. she told me she missed me and i told her that...i didn't." i frowned, listening intensely.
"she kissed me and for a second, i was brought back to the past y'know." she sighed, growing tense which caused my hands to drop from her back.
i bit on the inside of my cheek nervously, waiting for her to finish her thought. "but she wasn't you. i pulled away and all i could think about was how much i wished it was you kissing me." she smirked.
i farrowed my eyebrows together. "i like you a lot."
"me too," she stepped closer to me, putting my hands back where they were before. "i had your ass scared for a minute huh." she laughed, her tongue sticking out.
"stop!" i hit her slightly.
she leaned down, placing a soft kiss to my cheek and then the corner of my lips. "you gon let me kiss you?"
i rolled my eyes, "i've been waiting all night."
she chuckled, her eyes staring into mine before she leaned down and her lips finally met mine.
