"so yall together together." Aiysha bit her nail as she smirked. "girlll, we been waiting for this. we knew yall wasn't over."
Amari sat down his mimosa, "shii ion know bout yall but i sure did. i thought Gio was gon beat your ass a couple of times but good sis didn't and that's all that matters. instead she beat that pussy up," she stuck his tongue out, picking his mimosa back up.
"okayy," Aiysha said picking hers up too and clicking glasses with Amari.
i sighed but chuckled at my friends, Kali doing the same. "we aren't together together. i mean, we haven't asked each other the question y'know." i shrugged. "i'm just taking it slow and waiting for when it's right for her."
"okay, is it right for you though?" Kali asked, taking a bite of her pancake. "uh duh," i voiced. "but i don't know if she really trusts me like she says she does."
Amari sighed, "that girl loves you and it shows because personally would've fought yo ass like two bitches that bumped into each other on the streets," he chuckled but quickly stopped when i glared.
"hey but that's just me personally." he raised his hand.
"i get it, but hopefully she actually does trust me. i mean, we've been in each others skin since last night. i literally just hopped outta bed to get brunch with yall and we gon be right back in each others skin."
Aiysha chuckled, "and yall was talking about me and my man. now you know how it feels bitch." she rolled her eyes playfully.
i sighed, picking up a piece of my bacon. "i do."

it was the next day and me and Gio decided to take Ida out shopping for presents before me and Ida had our little annual christmas sleepover before christmas.
Ida clapped her hands together as we walked inside target. "i'm literally so happy that christmas is in two days. do you understand that it's literally the best holiday ever." she did a little dance before picking up a basket.
"sure," Gio chuckled.
Ida glanced back to mug her. "oh, i'm sorry what's your favorite holiday?" she asked Gio as she lead us to the book aisle.
