i sat on Gio's bed as she stood in front of me, her head tilted as she listened to me talk. she was still hella pissed at me for the whole Brooklyn thing, she even talked to her herself and found out some information that i didn't even know bk knew.
apparently, bk told Gio that i had fucked with her other homegirl like a couple of months ago, which is true but that don't mean she gotta put my business out there.
"so you callin me a homegirl hopper," i glared at her, taking in her words and she crossed her arms over her chest after shrugging her shoulders.
"i mean..." she trailed off, laughing at bit when she saw my face. "Gio that's not funny." i kicked her with my foot, pushing her back a little.
she smacked my foot off of her, "and it's not funny how you talkin to me and my homegirl, so what." she voiced, her eyebrows raising at me.
i sighed, "i'm sorry. yes, i used to talk to Brooklyn's homegirl for a hot minute and yes i'm screwing you while...yk, talking to her but not like that." i held out my hands.
"the shit that comes out your mouth be confusing the fuck outta me, Imani i'm not gonna lie." she clasped her hands together, staring me down with heated eyes. "so, you wanna fuck around with bk or not? cause if you do i can back off so quick."
Bk was hot as hell. man, she's fine as hell but i have Gio standing in front of me right now. "no," i stated. "i don't want bk or anyone else, okay?" i stood up, standing in front of her.
she huffed, narrowing her eyes at me. "mmh, okay. so, you done with Bk?" she asked, pulling her bottom lip into her mouth.
i glanced over to the side of me, before looking back at her and nodding my head. "yup, so done. no more Brooklyn." i smiled tensely.
"you lying to me?" she tilted her head, stepping closer to me which made me shake my head. "i'm definitely not lying to you." i softly stated. "we were just talking and now we're not anymore."
she wrapped her hands around my waist. "okay, whatever you say."

Ida and i sat in the car munching on our chick fil a while i tell her all about what went down. "girl," she shook her head in disapproval. "that girl wants you bad and you over here playing with her feelings." she bit into her nugget side eyeing me.
i groaned, "why yall all talkin to me like that? i understand what i was doing was crazy but i didn't do anything bad," i shrugged. "we aren't dating." i said for the millionth time.
"what if she was gonna ask you to be her girl and yo ass ruined it." Ida pointed out, watching me as i took that information in. "you think so?" i asked, putting my box of fries down.
"hell yeah, i think so." she leaned back into her seat. "you just be blind, that's all. have your attention on someone that probably wouldn't treat you how Gio does and then you have Gio who's ready to wife yo ass up. crazy works." she shook her head at me, turning in her sit to face me.
"fuck you," i playfully said. "wife up is crazy...but she was planning on taking me on a date before i told her about bk." i pursed my lips.
Ida raised her eyebrows, "damn...could've been in a relationship with yo stupid ass." she rolled her eyes, throwing her trash in the bag.
i scoffed, realizing how rude my sister was when it came to my relationships. she was always the one to give me tough love and not like how my friends do, she was evil and blunt with it.
"so, are you actually going to stop talking to bk?" she narrowed her eyes at me. "cause if she don't care about Gio, she's still gonna try and talk to you to get what the hell she wants...which is clearly you."
"yeah, i'm aware." i tightly smiled at her. "i'm not gonna talk to her anymore. i really like Gio and i really wanna see where it goes."
Ida sniffled, "i'm so proud of you."
i chuckled, "please, Ida."
