Gio and i have been hanging out and going a dates a lot lately. by a lot i mean, two dates and a few hangouts with our friends. we've been hanging so much that people have been speaking about us everywhere, speculating on our "relationship".

we've chosen to ignore all the post all us and just take things slow and chill. me and bio haven't discussed what we are, all we know is that we're two people going on dates and kissing every here and now.

"you guys make me sick sometimes," Amari said, sitting next to me as he watched me scroll their my camera roll at the pictures we recently took together earlier. i scoffed at him, turning my nose up and jerking my head back.

"what i'm hearing is that a hoe can't find himself a man?" i frowned up and tilted my head, causing my girls to laugh at me and Mari to glare. "anyways, i have some things to discuss it's you guys. y'all need to tell me if i'm trippin' or not." i pulled up my instagram and went to my dms.

"lord, what this girl do already?" Kali questioned, sitting in front of me on the floor and placing her hand on my knee.

i shook my head, waving her off. "this ain't about her, this is about bk." i looked at my friends watching their expressions morph into a knowing one.

"is this about her commenting on basically all your damn posts with heart eyes and slick shit?" Aiysha asked, narrowing her eyes at me and taking my phone from her hand as i held it out to her. Kali looked over her shoulder and Amari leaned over to get a good looking, slightly wincing as he took in the message.

"she's in the dms now?" Aiysha shook her head. "damn, she bold as hell. but to be fair it's not like she know you talking to Gio but then again, aren't this hoes friends?" Aiysha pursed her lips, slowly handing my phone back to me.

i shrugged, reading the text back over again. "she's just saying a simple hey hi...so, i don't know. i didn't think they were super close anyways, unless i'm losing my thoughts or some shit." i closed my phone and sat it next to me, leaning back in my seat cushion.

"soo, you haven't told your boo who's not your boo?" Mari asked, scratching his cheek in thought. "no i haven't and i haven't texted bk back either because i don't know what she wants."

"umm, i feel like that's a reason why you should text her back...personally that's what i think." Aiysha raised her arms in defense after saying that, then motioning towards my phone. "i say do it, because why not." she shrugged.

i sighed, standing up from the couch. "i'll think about it, but i'm outta here. i have to pick up my sister from her friends house so remember to be at mines at like...five." i told them.

i had decided that since my sister is coming to stay with me for the night that we had a small little get together with my friends, since they all seem to talk about missing each other when i'm telling either person about the other.

"yeah, okay. i can't wait to see the baby, i missed her." Kali pouted, standing up to give me a hug.

"literally, she's so grown now. bet she's already doing grown shit." Amari pretended to wipe his fake tears.

"uh, i would hope not too grown now." i narrowed my eyes at him.

Aiysha nodded in agreement, "exactly, she's still a baby. but see you babe, love you."

"i love you too."

"so, what's going on with you and Gio." my sister closed the passenger door as she sat in the car, swinging her overnight bag in the backseat and turning her body to face me.

"damn, girl. can you at least put on your seatbelt first?" i asked, scoffing and putting the car in reverse. Ida quickly put on her seatbelt before turning her body towards me, her head being in the palm of her hand.

i cut my eye towards her as i began the journey to my apartment. "yes boo? what do you want?" i blinked, stopping at a red light and giving her my full attention.

"you. Gio. spill. now!" she blinked rapidly, tilting her head to the side as she narrowed her eyes, taking my body language in.

i huffed and turned around towards the front, placing both of my hands on the steering wheel. "what's it to you? you haven't even asked how i've been, you're too caught up into what the internet is telling you."

she scoffed, "girl boo, i'm you're sister. i know that the shit that is speculating is so true. you can't tell me otherwise." she turned her body to the front as well just as the light turned green.

"okay?" i glanced at her, causing her to give a deadpanned look. "fine, we've been on a couple of dates but that's it."

she was quiet for a moment and when i turned to look at her she seemed to be processing the news. i sighed, clicking my tongue as i tapped on my steering wheel, wondering what the deal was with the awkward silence.

"that girl is fine!" she suddenly bursted out. "i'm so glad that shit wasn't for fake cause then i was gonna have to force yall to get together on some parent trap shit, speaking of we should watch that movie." she rambled.

"geez," i shook my head with a chuckle.

"yall be kissing and stuff?" Ida stuck out her tongue, leaning towards the driver side of the car causing me to push her away slightly.

i pulled into the parking lot, parking my car and turning it off. "you not gon shut up about this ain't you?"

i sighed, "and don't you go telling mama," i pointed a finger at her. "i don't need her thinking i'm in a relationship and getting excited you know."

Ida jerked her head back, "ain't that exactly what yall in? a relationship?"

i huffed, "no boo, we aren't. get ya shit and get out the car." i rolled my eyes, stepping out the car while she opened her door.

"whatever." i was about to close my door when she said something. "you know what, call her up. let's spend some time with your future girl." she giggled.

"hoe, get out the car." i shut my door.
