"My love, there's only you in my life."

"What is it?" he asked, his touch now cupping my cheek gently from the right side

"What is it?" he asked, his touch now cupping my cheek gently from the right side.

"I'm pregnant," I said, finally dropping the bombshell that had been weighing on me.

"What?!" he exclaimed, shock evident on his face as he swiftly sat up from his lying position.

"I'm pregnant," I repeated anxiously, my heart pounding in my chest.

"With--with my child," Lewis asked, his voice trembling with nervousness.

"Yes, with your child," I said, trying to keep my own voice steady as I sat up. It was a moment filled with a mix of emotions, from worry to anticipation.

"Are you sure?" Lewis asked once more, his concern evident in his voice.

"One hundred percent. No other man," I affirmed, relieved to see a hint of a smile on his face.

"Is that why you feel... sick?" Lewis took a pause before continuing, his words coming out in a nervous stutter.

I nodded in response as he visibly gulped, his mind seemingly racing with the news.

"I know it might come as a surprise to you, believe me, I was surprised too. But I want to tell you that I'm more than willing to take care of it by myself. I just wanted to tell you that somewhere here in this world, a child of yours would run around," I said in one breath, taking deep breaths to calm myself.

He looked me in the eyes, tears visibly appearing in his eyes as he brought his arms around my shoulder, pulling me close to his chest.

"Are you crying?" I asked, a gentle chuckle escaping my lips as I placed my hand on his back, offering a comforting caress.

"NO," he retorted, pulling away from my embrace and hastily wiping away the tears that now glistened on his cheeks.

"Say something, Lewis, anything," I urged, reaching out to grasp his hand, hoping to offer some form of solace.

"I'm happy. Let's do this together," Lewis said, his voice filled with a sense of determination that eased the tension in the room.

"Together," I echoed, drawing in a deep breath as his words washed over me.

"Wecould move together into my apartment in Monaco or perhaps consider a place inLondon. Though, the sea air in Monaco might be more invigorating for you. Icould relocate Roscoe permanently to Monaco, and you could take him forleisurely strolls. The sun there is delightful, and given that you work fromhome, it wouldn't pose a problem. You'll adore it," Lewis proposed, a hintof excitement lacing his words.

I wasn't pleased to move to another country, but I didn't want to upset him.

"Lewis, we will figure it out with time," I said, giving him a warm smile.

"Lewis, we will figure it out with time," I said, giving him a warm smile. Now we were lying on the bed, my head resting on his chest as he gently caressed my shoulder.

I tilted my head and asked softly, "Lewis?"

He looked down at me and replied, "Yes?"

"What are we going to do about the media? Wouldn't it be weird if you suddenly showed up with a child in hand?" I expressed my concern.

"You're right. After the summer break, you should attend a few races with me to familiarize yourself with the public. Don't worry, I will be by your side every step of the way, I promise," Lewis reassured me with a warm smile.

"Good," I said, feeling a bit better about the situation.

The whole afternoon was spent relaxing and chatting. My stomach finally settled, so we enjoyed a light broth with noodles while watching a movie. Lewis had also brought some other treats, which made the afternoon even more enjoyable.

"When do you need to catch the plane back?" I asked while we were indulging in some watermelon, surprised by the intensity of my craving.

"You mean we? On Tuesday," Lewis replied, catching me off guard with his response.

"Lewis, I can't move right away. I still need to pack everything," I said, laughing with the hope that he understood my point.

Lewis grinned and nodded confidently. "Of course you can handle it. You still have a few days, and you can count on me to help with whatever you need. Remember, we're in this journey together. I want to be there for you, no matter what comes our way," he said reassuringly. "Right, together," I replied, as I continued to savor the juicy, refreshing watermelon."Don't worry about it. I will buy you anything you need, and I will arrange for the best doctors to ensure your comfort," Lewis said, getting closer to me with every word.

"Lewis, I..." I didn't get the chance to finish my sentence as the ringtone of my phone went off.

"That must be Nara. I will go pick up the call upstairs," I said.

"Alright, do that," Lewis said, smiling brightly as I left to take the call.
