Narrator's POV

H.U.M.A.N.I.T.Y.'S Headquarters...

Beep! Beep! Beep!

Kibun and Mark were extracting some DNA from some creatures. They're studying how their skin works and how magic increases their defense. 

"Man, this is boring! I'm a mechanic, not a scientist!" Mark mumbles under his breath.

"Less talking, more writing, Mark," Kibun commented while typing on a laptop.

"Shit. I need a girlfriend to make an excuse for not working." Mark says softly.

"You realize that you would need to work still, right?" Ashley responded while pulling out her chair from her computer space.

"Yeah, but at least I'll have sex!" Mark says bluntly.

"What? Psh, dude, no girl would want you if you bluntly stated that. Why don't you try to communicate like normal?" Ashely says while resting her right arm on her chair's back.

"What do you know?" Mark says with narrow eyes.

"More than you, doofus," Ashely says with a grin.

"Hmph. Well, all I know is that I won't go for you! You're too smart mouth!" Mark commented.

"How could you say that to your best friend, you jerk!" Ashely says with a frown and a cute blush.

"I did. And I will say it again!" Mark says with a wicked grin and looks at his computer.

Wham!

Mark receives a heavy metal ruler at the back of his head. Mark saw Ashely looking at her computer with a puffy face.

"What the fuck, Ashely!" Mark barks at Ashely.

"That's what you get!" Ashely said.

"Are you fucking with me?!" Mark yelled.

"Not in a million years would I fuck you,  asshole!" Ashely stated.

"Guys..." Mato whispers with a cold sweat running down.

"*Sigh* Kids these days..." Kibun says while shaking his head. Kibun looked at his phone and saw an alarm ringing.

"Hmm? Isn't this Kuma's supercode auto alarm I install for her?" Kibun whispers.

Meanwhile...

Kibishi, Kurjira, and Yosei were waiting for Akuma's signal when she found the pattern for the guard's weakness.

"Don't worry guys. I'm sure Kum will give us the signal any moment now." Yosei says with a nervous smile.

"I'm sure hope you're right..." Kibishi whispers.

"All we can do is hold faith," Taoreta replied to Kibishi.

"..." Kujira narrows her eyes and frowns. "Kum..." Kujira thought while forming her fists. "You remember our plan, right Kum? Don't go overboard to prove a point!" Kujira grits her teeth.

Akuma's Pov

Slash! Slash!

My movements are slow, but I'm managing.

Slash! Slash!

Every claw attack I see, I counter. No- It's more like my body guides me to where it thinks the claws will reach.

My swings were like blurs as I tried to stand my ground.

My supercodes are overloading, but I'm this close to success. I have some data on these creatures.  I know the patterns; I know when they'll strike. I just need the right time to counterattack! Until then, I won't back down!
