Author's POV :-
"He has an affair with my sister, how dare him." Maanveer shouted as he sat on the bed, clenching his fist in anger, referring to Tanish.
"Just as you do with his sister." Niharika, who was sitting in front of a mirror and removing her jewellery, responded.
" What? "I never have an affair with his sister." Responded Maanveer.
" Huh? He took me as his sister, and you married me."
"You are my wife, and I have done many other things with his sister besides marriage." He said with a smirk.
"He can do similar things with your sister." Niharika's response enraged Maanveer.
" Rika Please-"
" Please what? There is nothing wrong with him dating your sister; she is not a child; she understands what is best for her and who is best for her." Niharika replied abruptly in a high voice, facing him.
"Now we are arguing over a minor issue?"
"Exactly, Maan! It's just a minor issue, so don't overreact. I know she is your sister, but Tanish is also a very protective, understanding, and intelligent guy." She replied in annoyance, seeing his overprotectiveness of his sister.
"But I was just concerned—"
"Forget it, Maan! I don't want to talk about this matter anymore." She replied and entered the restroom.
After a while, she returned and changed into her comfortable nightgown.
Maanveer studied her face but said nothing. He went inside the restroom to refresh himself.
After 10 minutes, he emerged from the restroom to find her sleeping peacefully, covered in a comforter from head to toe.
He shook his head, threw the towel onto the couch, and lied beside her.
She moved away from him and lay in the corner of the bed. He noticed her behavior and, without saying anything, drew her towards him.
He wrapped his arms around her waist and lay down under the comforter, inhaling her fragrance.
She tried to move away from his grip, but when she realized he was not wearing anything on his upper body, she came to a halt.
"Leave me, Maan!"
"Not ever!"
"What do you want?" "Just leave me." She said it again, attempting to push him, but he held her tightly.
