Niharika is taken to her room by Maanveer from the terrace. After they went into her room, he gave her a glass of water.
Her hands were shaking while she attempted to hold the glass. Then he wiped her lips and helped her to drink water from his own hand.
He placed the glass on the side table and gave her a kiss on both hands. She is not looking at him, he noticed.
" Is tarha nazrein churogi to khud se nazar nahi mila paunga mein." He spoke directly to her downcast eyes.
[ If you try to avoid my gaze like this, I won't be able to look into my own eyes ]
" Aapki nazron ki tapish bardash krne ki himmat nahi hai mujhma." She replied while still looking at her hands.
"Mohabbat bhari nazron ki tapish hai, ek bar dekhiya to." He replied intensely.
Hearing him Niharika looked at his kohl black eyes with her brown watery eyes, and she could see his love for her.
"I am here to share not just your joy but also your grief, Rika." Grasping her face in his palm, Maanveer spoke.
" Promise me you won't h...hate me after knowing the truth?"
"I already told you that it is better to die than to harbor hatred toward you." Maanveer answered with utmost affection.
In a rush, Niharika nodded quickly and said, "Maan, I...I ki..killed h..him."
Maanveer was shocked to hear this.
(Niharika now tells her story about living with Disha and Priya during the actual incident.)
