Yesterday, I was very happy and waiting for him; I was wearing a beautiful saree that Anu had given me; however, I had no idea that my entire happiness would vanish in a matter of moments. I and Anushka were waiting for his arrival when my phone rang. It was an unknown number, and when I answered, I did not say anything when a man spoke on the other end.
"Hello, here's a man who was injured in an accident and has become unconscious. I checked his wallet and found that his name is Maanveer Rajvanshi; please come here."
Hearing his name shocked me, and my phone fell from my hands, causing my hand to shiver. But I picked up the phone again and asked the man about his location, which he told me. I was so terrified that I did not realize he did not have my number, and neither did I.
Anushka overheard the entire conversation, but I was unable to think clearly because I was only thinking about him, and without hesitation, I ran outside the mansion. Anushka was also running behind me, asking me to stop, but my mind could not recognize anything else; no one was in the living room, so no one noticed us running outside the mansion.
I was going alone, but Anushka stopped me and drove us to the location. The location was 10 minutes away from our house, and Anushka informed everyone about the situation.
We arrived at a very quiet location; there was no one there, and it was a small street surrounded by huts and ruin.
We both looked around but could not find anyone, so I sensed something fishy and discovered someone had trapped us. I was terrified because of the location, so I held Anushka's hand and guided her to the car, but before we could sit down, someone grabbed our hands, and we turned to see at least seven goons standing in front of us. They threw both of us on the floor, and I knew we were both trapped, but I was more concerned about Anushka, who was also trapped in their plan as a result of my foolishness.
I was terrified, but I mustered enough courage to ask them, "Why have you brought us here, and what is your desired outcome?" Even though I stammered, I managed to ask. And a man said, "You and your husband are the cause, and the consequences now fall on both of you."
After listening to him, I realized that we were both in serious trouble, and the goons were staring at them like ravenous wolves."
I only wanted to save Anushka, so I asked them to let her go, and they agreed. But Anushka was not ready to leave me here alone, so I swore my oath to her, and she stood to leave.
